Ok, so I bought all the "Halloween" movies for, yep, Halloween, buuuuut I couldn't wait and finished watching them already. Now, I just finished Black Christmas which was what I'm saving for Christmas. For those who aren't familiar with this movie, it's about an escaped, uh, yellow (yes, you didn't read it wrong and it's not a metaphor, he is yellow. ) maniac who returns to his childhood home on Christmas Eve, which became a sorority house, and begins to murder the sorority sisters one by one.

For T: I watched the 2006 version and will be saving the 1974 version for xmas! (I hope. lol!)

The Black Christmas remake was awful. You'll see what I mean when you watch the original- it proves that the lesser you know about the killer, the creepier it is. It's another remake like Rob Zombie's Halloween that gives us unnecessary back story.

Oh, I also watched Red yesterday, it stars Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman, just to name a couple of big stars. (IMDb) RED completely justified to its Slogan "Retired-Extreme-Dangerous". The whole movie plays out really cool, funny and clever. In recent times Bruce Willis' movies becomes very cocky and senseless despite of lots of heavy Action, Drama and even comedy. RED is funny from the beginning and opening phone chat sequence between Bruce Willis and Mary-Louise Parker gives out lots of dept and characterization. After that it's a non-stop roller coaster ride and we get to meet so many interesting characters one by one. Now let's talk about the great actors who actually made the movie work like no one has expected. Bruce Willis is at his best in RED, I think after Die Hard action franchise finally Bruce Willis got another action franchise which can be preceded further. Bruce's amazing wit, Sharp action moves made it really thrilling experience. Trust Me! Watching Bruce Willis coming out of the heavy speed moving car was just outlandish. You have to watch that scene to believe it! Mary-Louise Parker is adorable, after watching her racy/funny side on "WEEDS" from almost 4, 5 years; it's so fun to see her in Big Star studded movie with her crazy witness and attitude. She is really fun to watch, the chemistry between Bruce Willis & Mary-Louise Parker is wonderful. John Malkovich is Hilarious; I never knew this man can be so funny, his moves, dialogues thus every thing was great, and he pretty much steals the scene when he is on screen. Morgan Freeman was the slowest among all of them in humor I guess, though he did pretty decent job in his small role. Last but not the Least we are introduced to Dame Helen Mirren, who just simply stole the show, seriously watching her moving that machine gun like a fire cracker is unbelievable. She brought the utmost charisma to the team of RED. The youngest cast member of the movie was promising actor Karl urban, his tux made him move like 007 & he gave an utmost completion to the RED team, the best thing about Karl urban was that he brought freshness to the movie. Brian Cox, Julian McMohan and Richard Dreyfuss were good. Overall it's a fun ride which no one should miss on any chance. Watch it in first moment!

Could you please not tempt me! I am TRYING not to watch the original version, dagnabit, and you're helping in making me fail miserably! Hahahaha!

Then watch Trick R Treat, Night Of The Demons(1988), Dark Night of the Scarecrow. Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane for Halloween themed horror.

I'm listing those down now! Trick R Treat I already have and Night of the Demons. The rest I have to hunt down. Yay! I still have movies to watch on Halloween! I already have my night planned out! Oh, yeah!

Oh, yeah! I forgot to include that bit of trivia. Yes, he also starred in the 2008 Red movie. I wonder if he'll have a third one?

Hell Night and The Hazing are also good for Halloween, not specifically set on Halloween but the characters wear costumes in both films.

Thanks for the review of "RED," Red, wait a minute. Anyway, I was debating whether it would be worth seeing by myself, and it sounds good. Might have to make a run to a matinee this week.

I don't think it would make a difference, but at least I won't have anyone sitting next to me, so I'll have both arm rests!!

Yep, I also thought at first that it won't be a good movie to see, but it turns out that it was. Laughed out loud a few times during the movie too, especially when Malkovich was in the scene.
