this has become a much more sensitive topic now that someone actually has someone in trouble....uh, forget any of that vengeful talk i said eariler okay i meant none of it?

Its all about the sircumstances?,say its a drug thing,a guy gets shot?,dies,the shooter gets caught?,death row?,no way.

yeah most crimes are quite complex, it's not really human nature to go around killing people

Actually a person on a death row is more expensive than a person in for life. It takes many years and lots of lots of tax money. Back in the day, it only cost the price of a 20ft long rope, which is actually re-usable and could last for many years. Seriously, I got a better idea. I can make hell on Earth to anyone who deserve it. If he killed someone, he had to re-watch all the tapes recorded of the person over and over again (mandatory) running day and night in his cell with pictures decorated of the killed one and has to go each week to take flowers and stair at the killed one's grave for hours and tell what she or he could have been now if she or he would be alive. It's the endless cycle of repetition is what hell is and he would be in hell.

I am doing a pros/cons paper on Capital Punishment for one of my college classes. It's not difficult to find information regarding either side - for or against it... Just thought I'd take a survey on here - find out the opinions of anyone who wishes to share them. Thanks for any/all feedback given. I am against it..The bible says "thou shall not kill". I agree, we cannot take life, since we never created it. And I still think we should put them in prison forever and make them WORK the whole time for free. No benefits, no education, No smokes nothing. Then we shall see who wants to be a criminal ..LOL. You know, if we killed them all...no one would want to be a criminal then either... True, but then if we make them work we would get free labour and they would earn their keep. Right? |

Personally, I would rather see their mind, body, and spirit get broken in general population than the death penalty. I think an eternal boot camp would be better with 24/7 manual labor unless they are sleeping or eating. No recreational anything at all. Is that too much too ask for as punishment? (Disclaimer: For death row inmates.)
Recreation should be based on the severity of the crime. Like 1 hour for the next tier down from death penalty, and 1 hour added for each tier down. Just my personal opinion. |

If you are for the Death Penalty you are no better then the one in the wrong. Death Penalty to you as well. And plus its been proven that some, not all but some of these people who were killed because of the Death Penalty were innocent. The eye for an eye theory should not be what us human beings are about. But then again, this is one messed up world.

A robbery,bam!,a person gets shot?dead..a mother,father,son,daughter,someone loved,cared for,they dont know this robber,but ther dead,he took away not just there life but a peace of every person who knew and cared for them,dieabolicly shattering there world beyond words,so much it hurts.....
