In my past, I have known some professional crooks. The death penalty is all that they feared. It is a good deterant for crime, but only if used. You are prob. to young to remember when the feds. said it was illegeal. There were articles about prison guards that quit their jobs, due to inmates telling them, they were going to be killed. Inmates said that they were already in for life, so why not kill some more. Am sure 1 case was in florida. Guy quit & lost his pension, but wanted to se his grandkids. I will take this all 1 step further. Leagalize pot & prostitution, tax them very high. Then ALL SEX & DRUG crimes are a hanging offense. Make them public & see the crime rates go down. Hangman's platform on every county square, will make alot of people think twice. Opinion is totally mine, but think about it. I'll second this regarding drugs and sex crimes. I've often thought that if you kill someone while drinking and driving, you should be immediately put down. Ditto with pot, crack and everything else. |

I always wonder how many Christians, who choose to be vengeful by wanting to kill others when their god tells them it is not their right or job, realize they go against their religion to desire and promote the death penalty. 
Gosh, considering Yahweh is so big into smiting everyone in the Old Testament, I can see exactly why some Christians are vengeful. |

i'm glad to meet a sane woman, but the one problem with that point of view, is that they can't really be put on trial...i mean, druggos aren't really people, they're mutants you know? it's not fair to put someone on trial, who's, you know...not human. here in Australia we put the most dangerous animals in wild life parks and put signs up to warn people about them. haha, that's an idea, i should put a sign outside the Brisbane CBD that says "WARNING! You are not entering druggie infested territory, enter at your own risk" |

I think we should just go back to public stonings or hangings. 
To enjoy watching someone suffer and or die...wouldn't that make us as bad as the murderer? Or would it be different because "the murderer started it?" No I wouldn't enjoy watching something like that. I'm just saying, it's been around for quite a long time, and it hasn't deterred crime. It never will. Criminals will forever be around, and there is not one full proof punishment that will make people not be. I was being just a touch sarcastic in the public hanging stoning thing. |

Let's kill the cigarettes smokers  Kill Them All! Do It Now!!   But for humanity's sake let's not forget to add the self-rightous arseholes to the list.

Actually a person on a death row is more expensive than a person in for life. It takes many years and lots of lots of tax money. Back in the day, it only cost the price of a 20ft long rope, which is actually re-usable and could last for many years. Seriously, I got a better idea. I can make hell on Earth to anyone who deserve it. If he killed someone, he had to re-watch all the tapes recorded of the person over and over again (mandatory) running day and night in his cell with pictures decorated of the killed one and has to go each week to take flowers and stair at the killed one's grave for hours and tell what she or he could have been now if she or he would be alive. It's the endless cycle of repetition is what hell is and he would be in hell. 
Serial killers enjoy remebering the killing and the people they have killed. This would be more like a reward to some. For the record, I am against the death penalty. |

O jeez. Well...
Id like to say Im for, but after being jailed falsely, it freaks me the hell out. Im like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. But then, Id have to take time out to think.. Does God really let anyone be killed that shouldnt? And even if I didnt do the crime, I know I was there for a purpose, which has since come to me, sooooo... Its such a damn sensitive subject for me.. I cant even begin to give a strait answer. BUT ya know, if it were an accusation of child abuse from a child who can really give a true answer.. then im like.. OOHH YEAH KILL EM! |

that's horrible that you've done jail time for something you didn't do!! whoever responsible for the false accusation should have their internal organs splattered about the country side while they slowly bleed to death...

If they truly deserve to die?,ie pedafiles,rapeist,seriel killers and the like,,,,HELL YES!,,put them down like a dog,,ent nothiting i wouldent do!,,we dont have the death penalty in the UK tho so we,r full up with skum!

why not simply castrate rapists or whatever and beat the **** out of someone so they are disabled?

i wld like to suggest that we castrate all child molesters and rapist. Since many child molesters and rapists (by instruments) are women or are accompliced by women how do you propose to punish them? Rape and child molestation is a crime of violence and dominance and hatred of children, their parents, or society not exclusively just sexual gratification. To abuse or mutilate this perv is to sometimes to give them exactly what they want. I didn't know there are many child molestor women. I got an alternative idea for them instead of molesting the kids. but. In Poland, they came out with a drug that they are ready to use against rapists. It's like castration without castration. You will be medically castrated. |

I think you mean chemicley castraited?,they use the birth control pill on male offenders as a depot injection,it lasts up to 5months,it doesent solve the problem.Do you really want to pay tax so skum like that can breath?,*** that,some people need to be elimenated.
