An official day sans clothing??? I am IN!!!!!! There is nothing wrong with the naked body as long as it's audience appropriate. I'm in! (knowing this will never happen ) |

A "naked body" isn't the point. We're talking about guys who feel the need to post shirtless pics as a main profile pic. Why the double-standard? If it's apparently okay for a guy to do this (repulsed by it though I am), I think it's only fair that women should be able to do it as well.
What's good for the goose, and all that rot.... |

Yeah, we are a bit off topic. I said my piece on another thread regarding this topic. I believe there is a double standard. Being topless is not X-rated in anyway. Breasts either for men or women are not sex organs. |

I don't HAVE all of the answers! There are a few pics on these last few pages that don't look appropriate to me. I don't come here to see naked or half naked people. If I wanted to do that, I know there are online places to see that.

But the stigma remains for women (or men) who still believe they are, because of the role they play for nursing a child.

What's good for the goose, and all that rot.... ummmm because it's not an X rated site?? Then why should guys be so-called "allowed" to post shirtless pics? Charles was kind enough to have a conversation with me regarding the pix for women. He said as long as women do not use "bikini" pix (by example) as their MAIN pic -- then it's OK and not against the guidelines. That still doesn't address the double standard that a woman being topless is NOT x-rated. Breasts are NOT genitals; they are mammary glands. If it’s OK for the breeders then why not the rest of us? (jk) Oy the conservatism! How sad. I still think there is a time and a place though. |

But the topic is about MEN with shirtless pics as a main on their profiles....not women! That particular point is completely moot!

Funny, I've never had anyone refer to having a bit of class as sad.

Meh ... To be fair ... this thread's all over the gaff now, topic wise ...

But the topic is about MEN with shirtless pics as a main on their profiles....not women! That particular point is completely moot! IF you are addressing me ... I don't believe my point is completely moot. A complete debate/conversation cannot be held with expanding the topic to include all sides. How can you discuss one side of a double standard? When I talked to Charles about this, he said, "that is just society". I am paraphrasing. There is no easy answer. and, I'm done. |

I'm gonna' take my shirt off now!
Us bald, fat guys deserve equal time to! BTW, female boobs ain't x rated. I say, bare 'em an' brang 'em on! |
