No one is meant to be alone. Just like no one was meant to not have a roof over their heads or enough food to eat. Unfortunately, it's just the way life is sometimes.

I was born into the world alone, will be buried alone, why not walk the path of life alone? Is it meant to be? Don't know for sure, but I figure if I was meant to be with someone, I would be. Apparently I'm not.

I think that being alone is more of a choice...than anything. If you choose to be alone you will be. If you do not want to be alone then it is up to you to change you situation and circumstance. It is equally important to improve you social activity inorder to increase you chances of changing you situation. This might be looking into Church activities or other community related activities. Or maybe at work you have a activity board that has fun things to do. Don't be afraid to try something new and expand your horizons...

im a firm believer that there is someone for everyone, and you normally find them when your not looking and in the least likely place.

You got it. When we're out looking there's something in our aura that sends a scary vibe to those around us. Shine it on and it will happen. {Easier said than done.}

We tell others and even ourselves that we have no problem being alone and that some of us even prefer it,I think we are only lying to ourselves to make ourselves feel better I for one don't like being alone, well at least some of the time.

I don't really feel anyone is meant to be alone but sometimes after the heart has been wounded it needs some time and a gentle spirit to heal and really be healthy enough to offer love to someone new.

"Meant" can have a dozen meanings. Whether or not we're 'meant' to be alone is up for debate - as is obvious in this thread. But some of us are destined to be alone. That's just how it is.
