Not that I would suggest violating the terms of service agreement with mingle, but you could create a new ID and email him from that. However he has already shown himself to be flakey. I think you're better off letting it go.

I am curious if you told him you'd be bringing company. I'd have been ok with that, but I wouldn't have wanted to be surprised by it.

The fact that he wasn't there waiting for you... more like 'watching from afar' is unsettling. In any any initial meeting I would go out of my way to make sure that they felt safe, that it was out in the open, and, if possible, around people. This guy sounds like he wanted to size you up first. I think it's a good thing you weren't alone. 'Creepy'.

Did you already tell him what vehicle you were going to be in? Maybe he didnt go at all but just lied and said he did.

Well at least you saw a meteor shower and it was beautiful I can imagine. Romance will come one way or another, friendship you have here on Mingle2, and laughter will overcome dissappointments if you want it to.

The shower was very cool..we counted. Saw 15 the first hour and 13 the second hour...then got cold and had to come down off the mountain. Well worth it all and had a great time with my boy and his friend.
The disappointment is much less than the confusion over ...WTF.

And it is total wash... didn't go well!
There are very few men in my area, most bore me and I have had some email communication with someone here that actually peaked my interest a bit. We decide to meet at his request at a park up the canyon to watch the meteor shower. I have my 18 year old son and one of his friends with me, so I figure this is a safe fun thing to do. We agree to meet around midnight-ish. So I'm running behind and get up there about 12:15, I look for his truck, don't see it.. go up the road to 2 more parks thinking maybe some confusion on which park. Never saw the described truck so I find a spot and the kids and I throw down blankets and watch the sky. I come home about 2:45 and have an email that says.. "I saw the white chevy, saw the kids, saw you, married, blocked"

I'm a bit confused on what he thinks he saw..
I am the most single person I know, haven't even been on a date in over a year, divorced ten years ago. Was he a no show? Could he have seen a family that he thought was me and mine? Strange.. Is he just a flake?
Any input here??

Doesn't sound good to me, jumped to conclusion, fast to judge and not even able to either talk to the person in the truck he saw or you after so i guess you dodge a bullet.

One day he might realize the stupid mistake he made by not pursing more and will for ever regret not having the chance to get to know you.
