Because my self-esteem is in the toilet about some not-so-good attributes, so when I find a GOOD one (especally that I can even appreciate), I like to enhance it. My eyes are a good quality. I want them to be seen.

In moderation, ok. I look people in the eyes while speaking, and it's horrible to actually notice particles falling. On this occasion I had one on my receipt.  Such a shame, as most can do without anything.
and then there are some guys who love the heavy liner on a girl. personally, i'm just too lazy to spend much time washing my face at night to bother with a lot of makeup. |

We use eyeliner because it makes us feel good. Just like we do our hair or find clothing we look good in or people we enjoy spending time with (that's not gender specific, btw - guys do the same things.) As for the people who wear 'too much' (and yeah, they're out there) it's still about how they feel about themselves. You can't dictate that for them... |

i dont wear makeup much but when i use a little eyeliner is one of them.. just a thin line on the bottom only. it makes your eyelashes on the bottom look thicker

I'M not a fan of to much make up but it is not my face so ladies make what makes you happy and I will be happy.

My guess is that many more women were eyeliner than do not.

I'd like an explanation on why a woman would use such a thing...especialy to great lengths. I'll ask you all, although I should've asked the gal at blockbuster. This deeply confuses me. If you are dating are you going to date only women that do not wear eyeliner?? |

women have been wearing eyeliner for more than 4000 years. you'd think men would just be used to it by now

I don't wear makeup anymore. Back when I did, I liked how eyeliner made my eyes look. However, considering where I live now, I don't even bother, LOL
