I've heard these words spoken quite often from guys, and don't really understand what is meant by them, I'm just a normal everday person
I'm thinking that maybe this happens quite often to both men and women alike...so What's your interpretation of these words, and why do you think that you have been placed in a "league" of your own that seems to make you unapproachable in someone else's eyes?

It means that your to pretty,or to good for them. But I think it's quite silly to judge a person by their looks and automatically assume you won't find the other person interesting

Most guys consider themselves ' nothing special '.
So when they see a beautiful woman, they figure that since they ( the guys ) are nothing special, that there is no chance a woman would pick them when she could basically have her pick of whoever she wants. |

Simple. The men that feel like someone is out of their league have probably tried to get the interest of someone they thought was beautiful to them at least a couple of times. They were then shot down, sometimes quite spectacularly. A lot of the time, there are only so many times a guy is willing to get rejected before it really starts to beat him down. So, the guys start not bothering to contact the ones that are " beautiful " in favor of the ones that are simply " attractive " to them. That way, the rejection isn't quite so stinging. |
