With my woman. Oh MAN!!!!! Been a long time coming! Just got confirmation today that my woman is flying out of China to do a 7 day stint in Amarillo to negotiate a GE contract the first of next month...
For the people who b*tch about LDR's...mine is Texas-China....so someone just being a thousand miles away is doable. It ain't easy (that is for friggen sure!) but for the real thing...time distance and the flames of hell are no real obstacle. I am so happy and excited I feel like I am gonna pee. Some of you kids know my story.....real love has all sorts of problems.....this is real love..... but, you know what? I would go through every sleepless, lonely, worried sick night again...cause when she is in my arms....that is when I know that all that heartache was not in vain. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! I got three weeks vacation and 24 sick days so I am set and have confirmation to go do my thing. (just spouting out my happytude to my friends here cause my dogs just don't care) |

Sucks big time but, though she hates her job and wants to move back to Texas...the American job market cannot compete. If it gives you a clue..she has had 36 visas stamped in her passport in the last 6 months. Don't misunderstand....I met her when she was 12 and I was 15....dated into our early 20's....we have loved each other for a long time....we just never got over each other. Her job contract is for almost 4 more years...I will be lucky to see her 2-3 per year. But, I am a patient man.....and faith and trust has NEVER been an issue between us. |
