I do not doubt for a second that MJ had some kind of mental issue going on. If he did actually abise any kids, i am sure his condition(s) were the cause of it. Of course we cant start allowing any such condition to be a viable excuse though, or allow his upbringing to be any excuse. Otherwise every pedophile could be excused as well.

I dont think we will ever know for sure if he did it or not. My theory that he did hasnt been changed yet.

Oh, I agree with his mental state not being an excuse at all...never thought it should be.

as far as the truth...it may never be known. However, many times, if not most, a person who abuses children sexually will do so whether the children are theirs or not. The pedo generally does not make a distinction. they are not able to stop themselves...so, if MJ was a pedo, then chances are his own children will tell a story about it one day...sad2

 correct Dan99,it was the Martin Bashir interview. Imagine if a 40-something man posted that he thought it was ok for an adult to slep in the same bed as a child. Do you think members of this site would tolerate it? How about The Mods and Admin? I doubt it,because it's wrong. I rest my case. be seeing you

to me...it says a lot more about any parent that let's it happen

It does say a lot about the parents, but really it says a lot more about the man who is doing the sleeping with the kids.

oh I will never say MJ is "normal" I believe he had mental problems. Not going to go as far as say he molested though either.

but my problem is...the parents are responsible for the kids. the parents are supposed to protect them and look out for them. why would they willingly allow this?

Some people shouldnt be parents. We arent debating what the parents of the kids should or shouldnt have done though. I think we all agree they were irresponsible, given that MJ was certainly 'weird', and POSSIBLY has unnatural tendancies towards kids. Although Jordy was the first accuser, so maybe parents at that time were not aware of how weird Jacko was.

Mirror, you are correct. But even if there were no sex acts commited against the child, don't you think that by sleeping with a 40-something man a child will have long-term psychological problems? be seeing you

dan...my point is there is something fishy about the accusations. when the parents allow it without a care in the world...then settle with MJ's insurance for money after he was already acquitted.

smells fishy to me. and the parents are sick

I read that Jordy's and his dad are suing each other now

In 2006, Jordan Chandler accused his father of abuse. The accuser, now 26, says his ex-dentist dad Evan Chandler “struck him on the head from behind with … (dumbbell) weight … sprayed his eyes with Mace or pepper spray, and tried to choke him” last year, according to court documents filed in New Jersey.

I think more stories will arise from somewhere, whether it be his own kids or others.

But probably the factualness of them will be debatable, and we still will not know for certain.

this is what I found out about the description (I wasn't really into the whole trial and such to begin with)

In December, Jackson was served with a warrant for a strip search of his body, as police wanted to verify Jordan Chandler's description of Jackson's genitals, and details of patches of vitiligo on the singer's body; an illness Jackson was diagnosed with in the mid 1980s.[5][26] The order stated that officers were to examine, photograph and videotape Jackson's entire body, "including his penis, anus, hips, buttocks and any other part of his body".[5][26][27] The warrant stated that refusal to comply would be used in court as a possible indication of guilt. The strip search took place on December 20 at the entertainer's ranch. Those present for the prosecution were District Attorney Tom Sneddon, a detective, a photographer and a doctor. Those present on behalf of Jackson were his two attorneys, a physician, a detective, a bodyguard and a photographer.[5] The attorneys and Sneddon agreed to leave the room when the examination took place, and Jackson demanded that the prosecution detective should also leave, which he subsequently did. In an emotional state, Jackson stood on a platform in the middle of the room, took off all his clothes and was examined for approximately 25 minutes, although he was never physically touched.[5] The search report concluded that there were some strong similarities between Chandler's description and Jackson's body, but there wasn't a definite match.[5]
