Of the roughly 6 billion people that have lived and died on this planet, only a handful are known about today. The rest lived and died in obscurity and were forgotten quickly. The majority of them were just like you and me. They had family, someone who cared, they lived their life as best they could under the conditions thy were born into.
Faceless and nameless they passed from this world taking nothing but what they came into this world with. |

and yet every few years there was just another incident with him. Maybe he was never convicted but there was enough of a pattern year after year to indicate a lifelong behavior of pedophilia. And the testimony of dozens of other kids
If he had been a Catholic priest he would have been defrocked based that alone |

Richard Pryor made a fantastic living by talking about his own mishaps in life, even while facing deathhe often joked about what would happen after he died, in fact he came up with some of his own death jokes So that was HIM, making jokes about his OWN death. Not making a statement like, "so what happened did he od on oxyclean?" Much less some of the others. ![]() |

You mean, the testimony of kids who had been coached by their parents because they saw dollar signs in their eyes.
Until you have PROOF, you have NO PROOF. You only have SPECULATION! An alleged "pattern" is not PROOF! |

An alleged "pattern" is not PROOF! I said other kids not just the two that everyone relies on to debunk it. there were dozens of kids over twenty years who were testified to inappropriate behavior like showering together and touching kids like Corey Feldman who said he would beat Michael Jackson's azz if he did the same stuff with his kids as he did with him so what if he wasn't convicted by the two instances. he demonstrated a lifetime behavior of pedophilia |

Oh, you mean the same Corey Feldman who was on the news the other night regretting the things he said about Michael, and regretting the rift that grew between them nine years ago that he never got a chance, and never WILL get a chance, to repair? THAT Corey Feldman?

Fetts, are you asking me why I would NOT be cruel? cruelity would have nothing to do with it if it were fact. i threw out a couple jokes and a couple opinions. thats all they were as tasteless as that may be. i feel bad for the people who loved MJ but im not saddened by his death. i feel bad for billy mays' wife for finding him dead. ed mcmahons death made me think about a simpler time in life and farrah, well i feel bad for ryan oneal knowing he will be lost without her. people come and go, and jokes will be made and life will go on. id rather celebrate the living for now ![]() |

A word recently used, judgemental I believe, is coming to mind. The facts are it can not be proven that he abused any one. The Facts are that he has the mind of a child, innocently thinking that things like sleep overs were just that...innocent. Every one that ever met him said he was a child mentally in the body of a man.

problem is that he is just one of many. it doesnt matter what he regrets. he isnt the only one
you can sit there and bat down each individual instance but that doesnt take away the fact of a pattern repeated over and over and over |

Robin, a pattern does NOT constitute guilt!
Jesus, I could see some of the people on these boards being interviewed for jury duty: "Oh, yeah, I'd make a GREAT juror, because I can spot a guilty person just like *snaps fingers* THAT!!" |

a picture of him dangling his baby over the side of a balcony with a towel wrapped over its head makes him a creep in my eyes.
and it takes away from any of his musical achievements; all i will ever remember him being is an child abuser. if he wasn't who he was, that child would have been removed from his care, and it should have. |

I used the word cruel. Classless would be another. I'll say this and I am done with this topic. I 'embraced" death when it meant an end to my husband's suffering. I certainly don't poke fun at it, as everyone, be it famous or not, is someone to somebody. And some family out there hurts. Perhaps it just hits too close to home. And even if someone was a jerk or what ever in my own opinion, I would not voice it at their death. What good does that do? Again, that's just me. And somehow I'm guessing that the loved ones of those that are ill now, would not find these same jokes funny later. |

Removed and be given to whom? The children's mother, who gave up all her rights to those children because she didn't want them? |
