Not my bag but, I can see why it is done.

To try to appear more attractive.

Let's face it, if you ain't willing to try to look more attractive in some way...then you deserve the bottom of the barrel who ain't gonna try to look good for you either. This is the exact formula that so many of the people in Wal-Mart employ.

You crack me up with this Wal-Mart theory! Something really gets your goat about people not dressing up to go to Wal-Mart!

Damned right....ifyou are in your home...by all means..be a slob!

Out side your home....represent yourself, your family and your society....

For me it is silk and slacks...

for others it is sweats and the unbrushed hair curled up into the ponytail holder.

P*sses me off that people are willing to look like they just don't care.

Yeah...I look down on them....that is why they are always so friendly to me.
its a materialistic world anymore, sad when people care about looks and not whats inside

It's not about what you are born with that counts, its what you do with it. You should be the best you can be. Letting yourself go, not taking care of yourself, not grooming or bathing or wearing clean clothes... people WILL MAKE JUDGMENTS ABOUT THAT because it reflects an attitude of lack of respect for yourself and others and even for society. I am a big offender. More often than not I will run to the store in shabby clothes and my hair and face a mess... like I don't give a crap. I'm sure people have judged me. I want to change that behavior.

This thread has spawned new topics within itself (like that never happens! LOL!) The bottom line whether you are talking about haircolor, what you wear, etc is that you FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF!

Hilarious...
In my recent job a co-worker used to pick up his 4 year old daughter from preschool. She'd come to my office and tell me tales about her daddy. One was about the "Just For Men" haircolor her dad put in his beard that gave him a rash.

From the mouths of babes...
LOL!laugh

and quit using that highly toxic extremely harmful hair color bigsmile

some people dye their hair to look different for a change...
or there ashamed of what they realy look like or who they are
perhaps that would be your reasoning... not someone elses....
