fran...I wasn't able to vote in this election (not that any of them were good) but when there is little to pick from...kinda hard. i'm writing in Mickey Mouse next time. I hope he sends all of us to disney world 
YR we should all get involved in the process, have first hand experience, vote and get those with the best ideas, solutions elected. I don't blame the people who ran, for like any other job, I am sure many made empty promises and said things we wanted to hear. Ultimately, we (majority) voted and elected whom we (majority) believed was the best candidate. At no one time will everybody be satisfied, that is impossible. yay Mickey yayyyyy 
I wasn't able to vote (not that I didn't want to)....but Mickey with Goofy as VP
but the problem is that people forget....they want to blame one president for hthings when congress is equally to blame until it's their hero...then it's never their fault

just a random question - why is everyone so keen on pointing fingers instead of looking for a solution? I could careless whose fault it is? It doesn't matter to me? It doesn't help me sleep at night nor pay my bills? Let's just agree we are in a mess and work together to clean it up!! oh hell, did I type that outloud 
I agree...and...we can all start by electing...as many Consevatives / Republicans...to the congress...in 2010... And now we see why we can't just try to fix the problem and not worry about who caused it. |

I have a friend who was diagnosed with cancer, and the earliest appointment she could make for treatment was 4 months out. Our government can't even run public schools, and that's where our future is taught. Now YOU as a non-denominational voter apparently, want them to run health care too? I'm not that delusional. It appears who ever has been running health care hasn't done us any favors either. By the way there is a wait in our system as well. So delusion runs everywhere. |

I just want to point out that my comments are in regards to republican politicians and not republican voters.I used to be conservative but got let down tremendously when I seen America get wrecked,and then I went to college and got liberalized.I admit that a lot of what the republican party sells sounds good (on a bumper sticker).But when you put it into practice it is actually cruel and deceitful.Its an excuse to hurt people in need ,and to exclude those who dont fit with their plans.I cant think of anything more satanic than that. I proudly admit that i am a liberal. Im not an "independent". I also respect those who openly admit what they truly are instead of saying they are "independent". Pick a side! I respect Gio for picking a side like I have and sticking to it.

And would like add to that the "they're all crooks" and the "all politicians suck" crowd are largely just avoiding any serious thought about who they should vote for or what policies they should support. An easy cop out. Less stress on the gray matter. For the record, I am a life long Democrat in the moderate to liberal range. |

and my 2 cents....yes..the economy was not doing to hot under Bush...but BHO isn't making it any better Awful mild on Bush ain't ya, he was worse than not doing so hot. Frankly we have a ways to go before we know how BHO will actually do. But again those that don't like him speak more here than those that do, which leaves the impression the man can't do anything right.
I don't like everything I am hearing but the problem is that I have to sort through the bs to get to any real information. |
