His substitute, General O'Hara, first tried to surrender to the Comte de Rochambeau who directed the British officer to General Washington who in turn directed him to Washington's subordinate General Lincoln. During the ceremony a British band played the song "The World Turned Upside Down." Dr. James Thacher served with the Continental Army and published his account of the surrender some years later: http://www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/yorktown.htm |

I do believe a plane hit and the government wasn't behind it. But do NOT tell me to get over it. there are some things that raise eyebrows. if I lost a loved one then I would want to know too. my dad died (he was a navigator) when I was 7 while flying a routine mission in the AF. If I thought for one minute something was fishy about it...I would look for answers until the day I died. if someone is "over it" GREAT!!!!!!! but I'm NOT Look, im not here to offend you or anything. I do honestly think you should get over it, but of course it is your right to feel however it is you do. If you had a relative die in the attacks, i could understand, but you didnt. Horrible stuff happens alllllll the time. If you cant de-sensitise yourself from things, you will live your life as a complete wreck. But i bet you do de-sensitise yourself about lots of stuff you hear already. Why choose just one thing or a few things to be overly concerned about? |

Why choose just one thing or a few things to be overly concerned about? why should I get over it that easy? just because you can. and NO I haven't forgotten others die daily. I come from a military/cop family and I hear the stories all the time....not to mention it's on the news. don't assume for one second that I forgot about others because that would be a WRONG assumption!!!! and I care about those people as well. but the topic is 9/11 which is why I'm talking about it. I made my own choice to not desensitize myself. and if you were over it...you wouldn't be here telling me to get over it...just a thought |

I also saw a picture from inside the pentagon that clearly showed a charred rollroyce jet engine. The very same that that particular jet used. I also saw pics of pieces of that plane with the colors of said plane.
If that hole isnt big enough for the plane its self to make...then it is possible it was one of the engines. That plane is like..what...13 feet tall? Thats about the right height of the hole. Does anyone really believe all those firefighters and policemen don't know a plane crash when they see one? They are first responders afterall. Kat |

One of my Navy buddies was at the Pentagon. He was search and rescue and he was one of the 1st to go in. There were plane parts and human parts throughout the wing. On e of the best sites for debunking this is:

Hasn't this been debunked a few times by a few different organizations already?

Hasn't this been debunked a few times by a few different organizations already? About 500000000 times, but what's another |
|
|
|
people ignore the evidence that doesnt support what they wanna believe
5000 times it can be proven otherwise and they will only believe the 3 that promote their own agenda |
|

If there was no plane, I would assume the people whose loved ones never came home would wanna' know where they are by now. Human beings had tickets for that flight, "phantom" as it may be to some, and never arrived at their destination.
That's all the proof I need to realize the flight existed. |

Come on folks, let's get real here, people die of all sorts of horrid things on a daily basis all over the world and have for centuries, if we took them all to heart we would be paralyzed emotionally. We all go on with our lives.
We might never know all the facts of that day, we might not recognize facts after all this time. Too much time for those that want to manipulate the facts. I don't particularly want more tax dollars going to more endless investigations that won't satisfy every one anyway. Does that make me insensitive? No, I makes me realistic. People are going to die, I am eventually going to die. I can't think about that on a daily basis and live my life too. And maybe while we are at it we should get over this hyper patriatism too. My family members have also served in the Military and they don't remind me on a daily basis that they did it to preserve my freedom or fought for my right to live here. That was already my right. To suggest such things makes all those who didn't fight in a war some how undeserving. I get pretty tired of hearing that myself. Just as i was of the Palin and McCain sh1t about who's a real american... ugh... |
