Life is what you make of it. If you think you are always gonna lose, and you have that mindset that you are always at the wrong place at the wrong time, well thats what probably is going to be the case. If you break that cycle, and take life with a grain of salt, with a "sh!t happens" and "dust yourself off and try again" attitude, well things will feel alot better. But do we ever get ahead with this attitude? I am trying to make it better, one way or the other. I don't want to act like I don't give a sh**. I have done that many time. |

to say all so this is the best it gets. Why do we see things so negative, when it really is positive? As a very wise man once said , only with an open heart can we truely see , for that which is essential is beyond human sight . |

That makes a lot of sense. I have worked on many aspects of life to make things more positive, but this is one I somehow lost sight of. Thanks, I will take it with me. |

Lived for many years surrounded by negativity. It very nearly consumed me. Constant negativity wears a person down...sucks the strength/life out of a person. My life revolves around positive, upbeat people now...the difference for me and how I feel is astounding. At the risk of seeing things only through those 'rose-colored' glasses we are warned about...I'm going toward positive from now on.

..because we are too quick to take the good things for granted,we let the negative ones linger, because we want our lives to be all good and when its not it throws off the balance of our expectations.. jmo |

I ride around in a rainbow bubble, so apparently I am unqualified to comment on negativity except to say "WHAT???"

to say all so this is the best it gets. Why do we see things so negative, when it really is positive? Like how I worked 108+ hours, only grossed a little over 1100 but only got to take home about 938 after taxes? Or, how I had to decline health insurance, and all other benefits because I cant afford to pay for it, and I'm still waiting for a decent paycheck? 108+ hours to gross 1100 bucks??? WTF do you do for cryin out loud??? Panhandle??? |

I used to live by the philosophy "Expect the worst, but hope for the best". Then, I realized I was better than that. Now, I simply expect the best. My life is so much better. I see the positives in everything, and I mean everything. Sometimes it takes a little longer to find it, but there is GOODNESS in everything.
Makes a world of difference in my life. |

I just graduated with my MSW today and it could not have happened if I had not changed my thinking. |

It's easier to see the problems than the opportunities. After going through a lot of years bitc*ing, I realized how stupid I was behaving. Now I see the green rose bud instead of the already-developed thorn.
