I think you may need to ask yourself, how you define another person.
Is it they have a different accent, so therefore are a particular 'type/race/culture'? Is it because they present as a gender, ie; male/female? Is it because they have this or that style of dress, drive this or that kind of car? We get about in life with all these labels hanging off us... I am apparently, female, australian, alternative, mother/daughter/ex-wife/ partner.... I am apparently all these things... these labels, and yet all they do is create barriers, assumptions, and wrong ideas, and hold us back from learning each other... they create a separation in our thinking....and the way we interact with another. I am a heart, a mind and a soul.... usually connecting with another heart/mind/soul who happens to be housed in an outside. I see people.....nothing else. What they choose to show me of themselves is the Who of them... the outside is the What of them. |
