Good morning pals.... I hope everyone has a lovely day today. I keep thinking about my mom who chose to go away on vacation this week. She was suppose to have bypass surgery, but she told me she wasn't sure she would go through with it. Anyway the doctor was concerned about her getting gangrene. She has diabetes, and a blocked artery in her leg. When someone tells you they lived a good life... well you just feel like they are giving up. She is 66. I'm hoping and praying she will have the surgery when she comes back next week. So this has been a concern that has weighed on my mind this week because I know the doc wanted her in his office this past Monday but she chose differently. All I can think of is the SERENITY PRAYER. |

Good morning everyone! Hope that everyone had a restful evening last night. Sent out a package yesterday. Went to see my surgeon and had to have pictures taken. YUCK I am soooo happy with the decision that I made to have this tummy tuck.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday and get out and enjoy the weather if it is nice where you are. It is beautiful outside here today. Going to enjoy it when I get off work.

Summerlady what a sweet lady you are. I received my package yesterday in the mail. It fits my house to a T. The star is hanging on my front door and the angels are in my kitchen, the mug is sitting her on my desk at work. You picked wonderful gifts for me. I love them all very much. Smooches, hugs, and best wishes are being sent your way. By the way my oldest daughter just called and said, "Mom that star looks great on the door. It kind of completes the front of the house." Very sweet and was exactly what I thought when I hung it up there. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart and for the card also. I also received a card in the mail from Ruby. There's a really nice store in the town I work in that has an Americana theme. (I love that store!) I had several things kind of picked out, but when I saw that star -- I loved it and knew that was what to send you. I am thrilled that you like the things I sent.

I loved the things you sent and so did my daughters. They are just as excited as I am to see what I get. It is too funny to watch their expression of what I receive. We share everything so what is sent to me is sometimes used by them as well. This way we all can enjoy the decorations and it just enhances my home. Thank you a thousand times over. Sherry

Happy Tuesday Pals! It's been a busy day, always is when I am in the office. 
Oh for heaven sake, I have to edit my post. I just got a call from the guy who is renting out the apartment I looked at on Sunday and loved. He didn't want to hold it, but decided that he would take $500 security and then hold it for me until July 1st! I am SOOO happy, it was a bit small, but I loved the location!!! Woo hoo! 
I am so delighted for you! That's wonderful news!! 
Thanks, Robin. I think just for June I am going to have to drop out of the Pals. Once I am in the new place and all settled I'll be able to resume being a part of the Pals again in July. I am going to have to watch every penny from now til July 1st. I owe rent on this place on June 20th and then need an additional $1400 by July 1. Ugh! |

Thanks that was very sweet, but it seems to me you are a pretty amazing mom as well! From what you say about your girls you did a pretty amazing job raising them. Its funny, I never realized the love I could have for another person until my son came. My life revolves around him, there is nothing I wouldn't do to make him happy. Well except when he wakes me up at 3am and wants Elmo, then I'd like to bop him!

My girls are amazing in my eyes. I guess in a lot of people's eyes. They always say what a wonderful job I did raising them. I just loved them and it was unconditional. They are sweet ones! My oldest daughter who is 19 said the other night, "Mom, do you think it is strange that I would rather hang out here with you and Lindsea (youngest daughter) than be anyplace else?" I told her in no way is that strange or wrong. She is where she knows she is loved and is safe. I am happy that my girls want to spend so much time with me. I remember my youngest daughter had to rub my finger as she went to sleep, it used to annoy the crap out of me especially when I was sleepy but now I miss it. Love those babies with all you might mamas!

Goood morning everyone just dropping in to say hello. Have been pretty busy this last week getting the house and yard in shape.
Having a Mingle BBQ with some that live in the area we decided it after learning another member is flying in to meet another member in the area. This will give some of us a chance to meet some of those that live around the area. Can't wait we have around 10 confirmed so far shshsh we even have entertainment found out one of the guys lives less then 5 minutes away from me and plays guitar. Awww now just for the weather to be good to us this Saturday would top it off for sure

I got mine the christmas before I became a grandma....think the universe knew something I didn't .....I don't go anywhere without it....well that was until it was stole out of my purse at the grocery store 2 weeks ago

Ohhhhhhhhhh that sucks sorry to hear that happened. I'm bad at times about turning my back with my purse in the buggy been trying to stop that to many get their billfold or the whole purse stolen that way.
