Hi Pals. It has been a beautiful day here. Baby Joe is 1/month old today. He was up to 5 pounds but lost some.His Mother is ready to kidnap him. They want him home so bad and so do I.Maybe this week-end.

Good morning (((Pals))). Looks like a gorgeous day in northeastern PA today.

Good morning everyone of you beautiful spirited people! I trust everyone is having a terrific day so far. I got out yesterday after work and mowed my yard and it looks so nice and fresh! I love being able to do things in the evenings and not have to sleep and rush off to the second job. I took my youngest daughter shopping and did some secret pal shopping as well. Looks like rain here but I hope not. My oldest daughter is having a cookout tonight and a bonfire for a few of her friends and I would like the weather to be nice for her and them. Better for them to be outside then sitting inside.

I came home last night and my oldest daughter had made shrimp, pineapple, chicken, and onion shish kabobs on the grill and corn on the cob. Man was I happy as a lark. Whatever that is. LOL I think it is a bird. However, she even cleaned up afterwards. They love having me home and it shows in the way they are helping out around the house so that I have time to spend with them. Thanks for listening to me raving about my wonderful girls. Love to you all.

I get the next 4 days off and I am sooooo lovin' it! Today would have been my 38th Ann. so I took my personal day for that. Bernie and I always took our Ann. off (with 5 kids, that's about the only day we had alone...LOL) so I kept up the tradition after he passed on. I am going to plant and weed my Angel Garden, and go to 2 of my grand-children's school to have "lunch on the lawn". They do not know I am coming so they sure will be surprised! I never get to go to day activities because I work in a school too, so it should be lots of fun!

im curious ...i mailed a package the other day and they told me it takes 10 days to arrive its destination, is this normal? and how do you put a tracer on a package if it doesnt arrive to the person whom you sent it to?oh and do you all use fed ex, ups or regular mail?

I use regular mail myself.

because of the size of the package it had to be sent parcel post instead of regular mail for some unknown reason.

I only use regular mail cuz it is cheaper...I'll be honest

once the 10 -14 days is up you will need to go to the post office tell them that your package never arrived at its destination and they will have a few forms for you to fill out, the PO will then send a notification to the party who was to receive it to verify the package never arrived.

Once the PO receives confirmation they will then check every dead letter file at each post office between you and the package destination
