Do you ever think about how you're feeling and feel so vulnerable you want to hide it?

When I feel like that I turn up the volume on my sense of humor and let it fly.

How do you hide?

Humor & good friends have carried me through some tough times.

I hide behind staying busy so I don't have to face it.

That's a really good way M. And it gets alot accomplished.

I have a great friend who tells me

"come on tammy-back into the real world!"

it is like hiding in plain sight!

I usally hide behind Randy.. he always knows what to do to get a smile on my face an feeling back to normal.

I just hide under the bed....or in it.


If I am that vulnerable, I become reclusive, reflective....I am too raw to manage the harshness of life.... so I tuck myself away on my island called my bed, and read, draw, paint, write poetry, sleep....or stare at the ceiling (commonly called meditating).

..i basically stay at home ..hide behind a beard and stay pissed off at the world..i make myself as unattractive as possible to ensure no one female approaches me and write stupid shyt on this date site..for lack of anything better to do or say..i think i'm doing a good job,havent been laid in six years,but i havent been USED either..i suppose its a fair trade off...

..the elderly lady across the street too elderly for me ..so dont bother with the witticisms,she always says Tombs(not my real name)..if you would just shave why you would have your pick..i say EXACTLY..

Jess, while I love this, I'd be afraid I wouldn't want to get out.

Being serious here, when I want to hide, I normally am not as outgoing as I am in real life. I love having fun, but when I feel vulnerable, I tend to just shut myself down from that...I won't take chances or risks (which I normally do), and I typically won't joke as much as I do.

Goofball, I do just the opposite. I put up the shield and take on the world. Nothing and no one can hurt me. Isn't it odd how we chose to cope?

Very true...it is odd how different we cope. But, it is rare that I feel vulnerable. Also, when I do feel that way, people can walk all over me and I am like....pffftt...I don't care. So yea....Goof no like vulnerable.

I have yet to meet anyone who enjoys feeling vulnerable.
