"How to make Holy Water"
Take 1 glass tap water. Sprinkle 1 packet of "Beleif", stir gently. While I'm not Roman Catholic, I attended 12yrs of Catholic school and have a general understanding of the rites. The water is made 'holy' because of the belief of *the beleiver*. Thus, any water is legitimately holy if is revered so. I'm not pulling sh1t here, thats the fundamental belief. So you can gargle with it, you can water the plans with it - there's no 'disrespectful' use other than whatever insult you intend to perform with it. It has no 'magical' status either. |

My recipe was accurate.
Mel Gibson, huh? According to the Bible, Jesus was persecuted. He was tortured (beaten, slapped, kicked, hit with stones and whips). He was not merely (if there is a merely)hanged on a cross. HE WAS TORTURED! Crucified! The others were not, at least the ones with him. I can tell you this much: One could do much worse than to watch that movie; "Passion of The Christ". I mean heck we could watch, oh lets see... Bay Watch, or even Debbie takes Dallas. Or maybe The chain saw massacres. Talk about worthless viewing. Sex...sex....sex....and whoa...extreme violence, and sex. Kat |

Wow, this is obviously not one of those sites that Catholic Priests
visit. Too bad, we could use one. Wait, if I'm not mistaken doesn't baptism require holy water? Don't tell me, do the Catholics make the non-Catholic churches buy it from them? That would explain why the recipe is such a secret. |

hmm which gospel are you attaing to.. in one gospel hes persecuted on
pass over, in one before, in one gospel he visits with pilote.. in the others he doesn't... the gospels also make pilote ( i know im spelling his name wrong grr ) look like this nice guy who didn't want to persecute jesus however in reality he had killed a LOT of jews and wouldn't have actually cared, however, it is making appeals to the roman government here.... theres a lot of things that the gospels don't agree on and each are different.. so i guess ultimately its on which one is right...if any |

I was baptised in the Baptist church and that was done by immersion.
There was non ritual blessing the water, however. The immersion in the water is symbolic of spiritual cleansing. SG, I don't compare Jesus Christ to be a martyr in the sense as it applies to mere human beings. His suffering was not for some "cause" that he believed in, it was done for the express purpose of ensuring mankind's salvation and eternal life. |

*no ritual*

Ad,
Spiders explanation of the extra books in the Catholic Bible is correct. They incorporate some or all of the Apocrypha in their Bible. The Protestant Bible has 66 books…39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament. The Catholic Bible has several more books |

You guy's are way off base.
If you really want the truth (and I use that term loosely) Watch the Movie "Inherent the wind " But of course to those Christians who are afraid of the the true. Don't watch it. Because it neither promotes the existence of God nor dispelled the existence of God. It merely asks you to think for yourself. |

Only thing I can say to the number of books as a religion practices them
is simple. Not one jot or tittle!!!! Seems like that sure has been ignored. |

holy water is what we cherish everytime we tour East Afrika..lol
so if i don't believe in god but recognize my water to be holy and someone pisses in it...? does this override the holiness or goes god and righteousness conquor all |
