What I Find Funny about Most Christians is they Can't Handle the reality of evolution but have no problem believing that out of thin air popped a Man and then this ghostly/Glorious Hand reaches down and Steals a Rib! wasn't one of the ten Commandments Thou Shall not Steal? we Can See the FACT of Evolution by the Remains Scientist Have Found! but yet wheres Adam and Eves Bones? and Oh Yes God Stole Adams Rib! Cause Adam was Sleepin when he Did it

Not to mention that there are two different accounts of Creation in Genesis. One which states that man and woman were created at the same time and then the other which states the whole rib thing and makes it sound as if woman was an afterthought and made merely to be a "help mate" for man. Its ludicrous.

Those Biblical accounts were never meant to be read by intelligent modern people 2000 years later. They were written for the minds of a primitive culture who believed in gods, most of whom could not read themselves. Most of the stories are symbolic. Even if I were a Christian, (which I'm not) I would understand that.

But where did people become mesmerized into believing that they have to take these stories literally? I don't really believe that the majority of Christians do. Perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps they just take it on faith, accept it, and don't even think about how it can be true.

Just the way most people are not like me, sitting around thinking about infinity and how technically we don't exist materially, and that we are only energy, light and sound and vibration.

Most Christians dont take all of the stories in the bible to be as literal truth. That is a small percentage of Christians that insist on doing this. It just seems like all of them at times because there are about 12 or so outspoken fundamentalist on this forum.

unfortunately My Aunt and Sister Are Two that Do! I was Raised around Christianity because of my Grand Parents and my lifelong Friends Family. and by 10 Years old I could See it is all Smoke and Mirrors. there's no Book More Violent, Deceitful and Pornographic than the Bible!
