I missed that post. My bad.

So then, the assessment is that we are being taught something by these higher intelligence life forms and that they are using the formation of crop circles as a means of direct communication with us?

We send signals into space by radiowaves, which are actually pretty slow if you compare it to lightspeed. Even the earliest radio signal ever , hasn't even left the close vicinity of the Solar System's location in this galaxy.

What if they are sending signals in a different way, I don't know, somekind of a microwave or some sort of radiation that is unknown to us. a much faster way than radiosignals and what we get from the signals are 'burnt' in images we see on the crop fields? Maybe it's not the whole message, maybe it's not even how it supposed to come out.
Maybe we don't have the equipment to capture these signals, but the crops do react to them, and here is the result.

Radio waves are slower than lightspeed...

Hmmmm...

Interesting. Can I ask where this information comes from?

Have they ever caught anyone doing these? I know you say that some they have not but at ANY point did they ever bust some kids in a cornfield doing this stuff?

Here are a few pictures aided by video...

An obviously complex design, considered to be a "genuine" crop circle until the hoaxer's debunked the popular belief.

http://www.cropcircleresearch.com/articles/e002-barbury.html

The claim that humans cannot do this is quite arrogant and naive, not to mention the fact that the mindset equates all human knowledge to the one doing the thinking.

laugh

There are ingenious people in this world...

obviously!!!

your website you are quoting:
The Crop Circle Web Ring
This Crop Circle WebRing site is owned by Paul Vigay

If you'd actually read carefully his website, he distinguishes between man made and unknown origin crop circles, not disputing all of them. slaphead

here is his own statement from the front page:

Crop circles are one of the most profound and mysterious phenomena of the modern age. Are they a communication from extra-terrestrials? Evidence of other dimensions or a catalyst to advancing our way of thinking?

Governments have discussed them and then sought to confuse and misinform the populace through their control and manipulation of the popular media.

The military have endangered life and safety in order to investigate and monitor crop formations, yet they deny involvement.

Hollywood has sought to manipulate the truth and credibility of scientific evidence and facts, yet film goers become ever more intrigued.

Hoaxers have sought to deceive, confuse and muddy research waters, in the same way that computer virus writers seek attention and attempt to contaminate data.

Some crop circles are hoaxed. Some are not. We research those that are not!

This web site strives to shatter orthodox scientific arrogance, inform and educate the public, present scientific evidence and confirm that humanity is on the brink of amazing discovery and awareness. We do not seek to impose views or opinions but endeavour to share impartial and scientifically researched findings and theories in order to inspire people to carry out their own investigations and continue uncovering what 'the powers that be' would prefer lay hidden.

We have a huge archive of research articles, indexed into category or research area. If you're looking for research on a specific aspect of the phenomenon or particular crop circle, please feel free to contact us, as we have a huge amount of data still to computerise and add to the web site.

That emoticon is funny... laugh

I know what the website is. If you would have read a little more perhaps it would have been obvious to you that what I posted was a hoax of a hoax...

It is easy to fool people.

That is the problem at hand here. Do you think that the people who pursue the idea of the alien source have a vested interest?

noway

Are they generating income?

I have an interest but... I'm not generating any income. Of course, I don't have a plane nor do I travel to reported crop circles and do scientific study on them.

This stuff costs a lot of money. If you are suggesting that anyone who asks for contributions to their research is doing it for the money, remember, that kind of research does cost money.

And unless a person is independently wealthy and has nothing better to do with their time than to investigate crop circles and build websites for public benefit.. as a hobby, I'll bet that some of them do generate an income.

That is the way the world works.

And just to make it perfectly clear. I do not pursue the idea of an alien source."

After a normal "human source" has been ruled out for lack of evidence and feasibility for the making of all crop circles, I look for motive, opportunity, agenda, technology required, evidence, witnesses, and scientific findings.

The scientific answer to the puzzle is: WE DON'T KNOW WHO OR WHAT IS DOING THIS.

That is the correct answer, but not a solution.

For solutions, we use our imagination. What else can it be: Hmmmmm. let me think...

Can it be a "natural" phenomenon with no sentient intelligence behind it? Well look at the geometric designs in snowflakes. Are snowflakes created by alien intelligence?

No, I don't think so.

If the crop circles were just circles like they were in the beginning, this might be a possible answer. But they got more complicated and they actually communicate messages we can understand.

Is the universe itself a 'thinking stuff' like Wallace D. Wattles states Perhaps it is the thinking stuff of the universe itself doing it.

Is the earth itself a conscious being with a soul as some people say it is? Perhaps it is the earth spirit creating the circles.

Is it some highly top secret government program with advanced technolgy and vortex machines or time machines or fancy lasers doing it?

Or perhaps our reality is a holographic model or holodeck program and it is done with the control panel and a few pattern making programs controlled by a ten year old in the next dimension. Maybe we are just simulated beings.

You can imagine all kinds of things. I just happen to believe (or chose) the one that makes the most logical sense to me.

The truth is we just don't know for sure.

And as I said before, if it is humans I want the vandals arrested and charged. rant

I have always pondered what people meant when they used the term "event horizon."

This guy doing the talk in this video speaks the truth about the (ridiculous) search for the particle which I agree will NEVER be found because it is a journey to the infinitely small. (Infinity)

He also speaks of "nasty infinity" which is the infinitely large that goes the other way.

Between these two infinities is the event horizon... us.

We are the event horizon!!

And why not? We are the event! Existence of a sentient being is the event.

Event horizon has become a bit of a buzzword, hasn't it?

I always thought it had to do with black holes and the boundary at which light would be pulled back in or something...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event_horizon

I think describing humanity as being the event horizon is a little anthropocentric, a little like how in traditional Chinese or Japanese philosophy, you'd have a similar idea expressed by the calligraphy piece of the three characters:

天...Heaven
人...Man
地...Earth

Man is at the convergence of the infinite and the finite, or the infinitely large and the infinitely small, or the divine and the secular...or however you like to describe it.

I have not read this whole thread so excuse me if someone already donkey stomped this one.

Radio waves ARE light. They travel at light speed. So are Microwaves, so are Gamma rays . . ..

Its all vibrations of the electromagnetic field.
