It's more the lack of affection that would probably ruin any kind of happiness. Like if the person you're dating suddenly bails on you because of some nebulous reason of theirs- that'd pretty much be a major buzzkill. LOL But there doesn't necessarily have to be good sex in order to be happy. It'd HELP, of course, but it doesn't need to be there. |

When we project the responsibilities of our emotions onto someone else...(when we externalise ourselves)... we create a victim type achetype that is far from sustainable, or healthy for us.
When we OWN our own emotions... and are completely responsible for ourselves, of course one's 'happy-ness' isn't affected by good or bad sex. If it isn't there... if it is not fulfilling, rewarding or enjoyable.... address the situation... that's why we have vocal chords...

I could suffer through the first few times of it, but after that if it was still the same, it would need to be addressed.

To be sure, you have to start out with a "good" relationship, the rest, (sex) is about, learning about what makes each other tick, and be willing to work with it, and loving each enough, to make it happen...
