I don't mind being called cute...just not "kinda cute" I can't stand being called hot, sexy, eye candy, easy on the eyes, or better than a set of mud tires 
I like beautiful, cute, or gorgeous. Does " purdy " work for you???

in my use of the words - cute - used more to describe a persons actions. when it comes to looks - i'll say that little kids are cute - but i won't use "cute" to describe a woman physically unless her face has very child-like qualities sexy - almost always used to describe a person's expression (a 'look' or a pose. gorgeous - reserved for older women, or more mature looks hot - generic word to describe a woman's complete body. smokin - i don't use this...when i hear "smoking" i think of a bad habit or finding an extinguisher =o) pretty - i don't use this word beautiful - a reserved word - i rarely use this to describe women - i think it adds more weight to the word if its not over-used

i personally HATE being called cute, hot, "smokin" ... that's all ridiculous to me. i like being called beautiful or something of that nature. how do you feel ladies? and guys, can you explain the difference between all these different adjectives from the MALE point of view, and why some are never used? cute, sexy, gorgeous, hot, smokin, pretty, beautiful... etc I'll personally take a compliment regardless of vernacular - just appreciate the intent, assuming it's good, cuz that's what really matters. |

well there is a difference between these words to me! hot is not a bad thing to me its saying your sexy! Some women are hot and make you think erotic thoughts. some are beautiful and make you think other thoughts. some are as cute as a button. some are smokin hot and thats sexy and i cant be near you without needing a shower. But cute is a good thing be proud of it!
