Some people know much information and have much intelligence. I think you can learn from people who know everything.
Some people maybe just think they know much still you can learn information from them. Hostility towards intelligent people will not increase your intelligence.

Do people that think they know everything get on your nerves as much as they get on mine? There are a few on this message board that do this, and it drives me crazy.laugh

Like they have a PHd in psychology (but work at Kroger) or they are experts at parenting and giving advice even though they have no children. And when you try to correct them with a FACT, they will argue with you about it.slaphead

Hasn't happened to me, just some threads I have read through.

I spend most of my time just making things up and people still think I am a know-it-all. They just keep pressing and I feel obliged to answer and make the story even more elaborate. But anyhow, for you know-it-alls: I got a mouse in the apartment, who appears to be able to lick all the peanut butter off the mousetrap, without setting it off. How do I finally catch this rascally rouse- he has foiled me for a week now it is almost beyond the point of getting a humane trap, it is WAR!!! Life or , the Eternal Circle, him or me. The Great Hunter must come home with the head of his prey to offer to the gods of not finding mouse turds on the kitchen counter (either that or throw out the bum, sleeping on my couch who is a disgusting slob, but has nowhere to go- he is a real nowhere man).

Get a cat.

Challenge me next time, will ya?

nah, then you have to worry about the cat leaving what it didnt eat of the mouse at the foot of your bed for you to step on when you get out of bed (trust me its disgusting). If the humane trap didnt work then you probably have a baby mouse, which equals lots more mice running around. I'd try the sticky paper next. ( i am an expert in this!! I had a cat, and used the humane traps and gave up trapping them when i had 9 in the tank ready to relocate pluss the numerous dead ones. needless to say i moved out of that place soonas my lease was up!!)

But even if something was left at the foot of your bed, the mouse would still be just as dead, yes?

yes, but stepping on half of a face, with an eye ball hanging out, some internal organs and a pool of mouse blood is not the best thing to wake up to.

I've had worse mornings.

Better to wake up to the remains of a dead mouse than it is to wake up to the remains of a human being and watching him die in front of my eyes (yes, that happened to me, August 2007).

I prefer the sticky pads myself

if you catch a couple of mice it looks like they are playing twister

You just have to know how to deal with them. One of the guys I got deployed with was a know-it-all. Another friend of mine, and myself are both complete assholes(I know, me, and asshole? hard to believe, huh? laugh ) Anyway, we actually made a game out of pointing out how wrong he was. Took him almost all the deployment to figure out to not try that crap with us. . .
