Kids more so then some adults...that's for sure. Probably. But then being 'mature' isnt necessarily a good thing. Pot is great. I smoke a lot of it, everyday. I wake up and smoke it, carry on all day and then smoke before i go to bed. Its bad because it will probably give me cancer. But then everything gives you cancer these days, so f*ck it, im gonna enjoy my life. I think the water & the so called food we eat is giving people cancer shall we ban water & food too ??? Most people that are so against pot dont know a thing about it. that is for darn sure no doubt about it But then i wouldnt like my kid smoking it. i personally prefer my kids smoking pot or cooking with it than getting all sh!t faced on alcohol & crashing their cars I am glad they survived their teenage years & twenties relatively unscathed If they drank alcohol all that time like so many teens do or if they took all sorts of crank & coke & sniffed glue then their stories would not be nearly as bright & shining as they now are but they are awesome & anyone would be proud & humbled to have kids as good as mine |

Well when I have children if I caught them smoking a joint. I would take it from them and the punishment would be depending on age. But, I would take something of great value to them & tell them the bad effects of pot & that it is illegal & not to be used in my home. I would educate them on drugs & their effects & why they shouldn't be used. That sounds like me. |

Unfortunately...I smoked more pot than I want to remember. I sure as hell wasn't any safer then than driving drunk. Six of one or half a dozen of the other.
I never met a pot smoker that was a safe driver...maybe slower...but not safer. The response time is just as bad. I wish now my family had called the cops on me when I was younger. Maybe I wouldn't have become as bad as I got. I know for sure I would...I mean I WOULD get the police involved..if for only to scare the bageebies out of them. Getting high or drunk....lose lose situation. I used to ask and threaten their friends about drugs when they were all going places in the same car. Kat |

Hi there sweet Kat..
.Just sending some love my Dear Sister i know that the things you speak of are very real to you and there is truth in what you say about delayed reaction so it's wise not to drive while stoned either i respect you & have nothing to say in regards to your personal experiences .. and if i had my life to do over I would do many things differently but we can't go back we can only make today & tomorrow better and there are a lot of things i would keep just the way they were but my Mother called the cops on my Brother when he was a teenager & she regrets it big time . ..to this very day.. ..& she is almost 79 nothing good happened because of it and i think it made him rebel even more and Not all cops can be trusted with our children sooo, it is a very hard call to make and there are so many factors involved |

I have a different veiw than most I guess....I saw my best friends kid grow up exposed to pot. As she matured, of course she wanted to try it...so after a while her mom said ok. Now, she does as an adult, smoke pot. But during the worst of growing up,"the teen years", she NEVER hesitated in returning to her mother for answers about anything, including drugs.
As I saw their relationship and bond grow...it became apparent to me that I wanted this open door w/ my child. So I opened the door for all conversation...lo and behold, she came to me first rather than "experiment" w/o knowing the dangers. There are no proven side effects of children born to a pot smoker, It has been used for centuries , and in the correct setting, can be enjoyed and not lead to harder drugs. The problem w/ any drug is that parents "dont want to know", or punish severly, or refuse to see the signs that might lead their kids down the wrong path. As a non-smoker...I have no problem with it, I think correct education, awareness, and guidence is key. If you yell...they will just hide it and get in trouble. Give a child a crayon, and he will draw on the walls. Teach him art and he will paint a masterpiece.... |

mmmmmm...my brain with bacon i`m tempted to start smoking marijuana now [] heck , you might as well enjoy yourself , stop & smell the roses , and the coffee too to go along with your breakfast cause if the polluted air doesn't kill us the clorinated water & the genetically modified food will and if we manage to escape the gangsters & the terrorists hurricanes & tornados & erupting volcanoes , massive tsunamis & cataclysmic tidal waves Lions and tigers & bears ...Oh My then i think it is pretty much smooth sailing after that |
