Scomail steps from his place at the bar and looks at keen intrest at the figure lurking in the shadows, He speaks in his native tounge and moves to the stairs leading to his rented room, Glancing back at the minotar with a wry smile and wink unsure as to how to react to this, zero presses her lips together and blows a kiss to the dark elf, followed by a grim smile that seemed to say, 'bring it.' after this, zero brought the mug to her lips again and drank, feeling secure of her place here. there was no one to threaten her here. |

Felling warmed and a little more at ease a hand glides out and moves an empty ale mug from out of sight placing it close, knowing that the bar hand will come and collect it soon enough. " a quiet word in his ear" he thinks "mono a mono" slopes back and waits again.

Taking notice of the shadow-like figure, the cowled human stands up from the bar and moves to the corner of the room.He leans towards Scomail and the shadowed figure. They begin conversing in hushed voices.

The stranger's jaw drops as the Halfling weaves his traveling robe into a rope. Obviously, the cowled stranger had been expecting his robe back in the future. However, he shrugs and smiles to himself as his tips the glass of water to his lips. "Thank you fair stranger" murmers the slight figure as she gazes with pride upon the gleaming rope.. "Come with me..." She moves towards the bar and flings two gold coins to the haggard barkeep.. "Your Cheapest sh!T! I mean now!!!" The lovely hobbit barked... As the jugs are handed over to her...she quickly loops a man length of rope through the handles...to then head upstairs...Midway up..she turns her head back...."I need someone who ain't a total P#ssy"....She then turns back and slinks her way upstairs with her bottles of alcohol in tow..... |

"I need someone who ain't a total P#ssy"....She then turns back and slinks her way upstairs with her bottles of alcohol in tow..... The cowled stranger looks at the minotaur, motioning the beast to go upstairs. "Half-mino, half-halfling children. The likes of this, I have never seen!" the stranger thinks to himself. |

As the climb up the stairs leads to a simple window...The hobbitt realizes that she is alone. With a quick glance....she spies a couple of loose boards from a shoddy bench....
Within a moment..she erects a launch fulcrum at a second floor window.... Standing on a nearby table and holding the rope that laces through the handle of a rotgut filled jug...She leaps onto the edge of the stunted board...at the same time...she heaves with all her diminutive might upon the rope to guide the cask towards the fire burning on the street below... quickly the vessel launches through the window to shatter and flame up among the milling throng outside. With satisfaction...she steps away from the launch board smiling at the screams below...she wrestles the next jug of fire water into place... "Unless you guys plan on just strolling out of here...I would suggest you help clear a path..." With these words she looks to the milling crowd below... |

Suddenly, the cowled stranger launches himself upstairs, past the halfling and into the shadows. In the next moment, the halfling woman finds her wrists bound behind her back. She turns her head quickly to see that the stranger had sneaked up on her! "I suggest you put down the fire water, miss. Our fine bartender has been kind enough to serve us; the least we can do is to leave his tavern in one piece."

"You may be right sir....But, our bartender is planning on going no where...even now, the hordes gather outside the doors...and common courtesy and blow jobs will not get me past them" "I must go south! Release me and let me seek my own fate! If you fear the fight that a hobbitt woman seeks for her freedom...So be it! Release my bonds that I may do what is right for me...unless you plan to keep me tied up...then the rate is 120 gold soveriegns per hour...." With dead serious eyes she looks to her shadowy captor.... "Help me , ignore me or pay me...but release me or I will have you killed" |

The stranger looks down the stairs, thinking for a moment. "You may be right about the bartender, and this crowd may only get uglier." He releases the halfling's wrists, but wraps her arms to her body with a leather strap. "However, I'll not let you go quite yet, halfling. Stay close to me and keep quiet."
The stranger pulls the halfling down the stairs and into the shadows at the back of the tavern. Quietly, he opens a window which leads to the alley behind the Green Dragon. Putting the halfling over his shoulder, the cowled stranger climbs through the window as the crowd roars on the other side of the inn. The human pulls the halfling around a corner and stops. "About those 120 sovereigns: consider the debt paid in return for a more interesting flight south. Let's go." |

Criani asks Boromir to tidy up the tavern and start the fireplace. She then goes up the stairs to retire to her room for the night.

"Let's fly!....More orcs and hobgoblins are arriving by the hour....It is a death trap to stay right now.....We must fly!"
Tightly the Hobbitt clenches to her fleet and shadowy companion... "Go man....go!" Is the plea she whispers to the smoking night air and her shadowed saviour... The faint sound of screams and violence surround the tavern and grow closer by the moment.... The thought flashes through her mind....If your enemies know where you are...don't be there.... |

The stranger releases the leather tie. "Time to disappear. Come on."
The two companions disappear into the night. After all, it is rogues and Halflings who know best when to run and when to fight. Crazed orcs and hobgoblins break into the tavern. What ever will happen to the dark elves and the minotaur? And Criani and Boromir? The cowled stranger, named Krin, slows his pace. "Come, Halfling. Pick up some stones...and I hope your aim is good..." |

Boromir giggles as he watches the hobbit and human rogue panicing over orcs and hobgoblins. Although it is sad that not all the houses and buildings in town are spared from such looting, he knows that the tavern cannot be broken in. The magical barrier was created by the Grand Wizard Millendor a dear friend of Criani Peracien. Not even the smartest Orc Shaman could find a way to break its spell let alone a normal mage if tried to.
Boromir watches how the hobbit and human rogue bounce back from a unseen force at the window and fall to the ground. Boromir giggles once again as they scratch their heads and get up to walk into their rooms to rest for the night. They are lucky to have survived this day outside for there are far nastier things lurking in the night then orcs and goblins. Boromir shakes his head and stretches once before heading up to his room to retire for the day. Tommorow is another day and he hopes that Lord Elkinsinan will come soon with his army to clean the streets of these nasty pests that destroy commoner homes. He is lucky to have Criani Peracien protecting him and all the adventurers who make it to the Green Dragon's Inn. |
