Once for 11 years and was not happy. I am happy to be single again! Yeah it is nice to be single again. |

I think it will take alot to trust someone wont turn into a monster overnight......like my last husband did!!
But I still do believe in marriage. |

Just once and we are on our way to our first anniversary in 7 weeks

Marriage to me, is just a piece of paper. If I love someone, I dont need to sign a marriage license to prove it. So I will NOT be married again. Plus the cost of divorce sucks. Agreed, besides the tax break there is not much point in it. |

Myself have only been married one time for 11 years.
Have been divorced now for 17 years. Would I do it again sure if I thought they were the right person. But ..........is it a must for me no I'm seeking the comminuted relationship more then anything that is what is on my priority list. You see it is not the Marriage that in fact fails the two that took those vows it is the ones within the Marriage that failed to keep the vows they in fact took. |

One time & never again

I have only been married once.
I also believe in marriage and would do it again. I'd just choose a peer next time... and a person with whom I'd see myself with in 30 years and not bored or peeved with. And vice versa. And I'd definitely do pre-martital counseling or not get married. I think that is a good way to establish the expectations within the marriage to avoid resentment later. If the other person isn't willing, then no "I Do". |

Let's just say I have enough ex-husbands that they could form their own support group. |

one time was enough for me.

I am curious Lilith. Where do you find a peer when you oviously think you are better than anyone else???

I am curious Lilith. Where do you find a peer when you oviously think you are better than anyone else??? No, you obviously think that I think I am better than "anyone" else. According to your statement. I, on the other hand, don't think that at all. |

I know I'm better than everybody

No. I just read forum and thought you could use a reality check!! You are aware of my reality how, exactly? I answered the question posed honestly. Your interpretation is your own. However, without any information as to why I said what I said.... your post was an assumption. How was your post related to the thread? I suppose my even responding to you makes me an ass. C'est la vie. |

How many times have you been married? Me, just once was enough for me to know that I didn't like it. Once, and that was a mistake. I don't see it happening again. |

Divorced since '96.
If I ever got married again, it would be with someone I want to grow old WITH, not BECAUSE OF. |
