Agree or disagree - the best way to find the right relationship is not to look, and it will come along at the right time? To find implies to look, doesn't it?

Agreed...you just have to make sure you are in a place love can find you. If you are hiding from life, it's likely to miss you. If you are looking to hard, you are likely to find something that does a good imitation of love...

Agree Some people on here might be trying to find their "soulmate". That could happen on here or out in the real world. But in all reality, it more than likely will not happen. But that does not mean you can't get involved in a serious relationship with someone that is not your "soulmate". I was not looking and twice I have met a person that was the right person to get involved with. I knew, within the first hour of meeting that it was "right". And at the time, it was the right thing to get involved. No regrets and I would do it all over again. It just seemed that when I was out "looking", I was trying too hard or whatever and it never worked out. Maybe that was lust.

I think success in love is pretty much like sucess in anything else. It is when opportunity and preparation meet. If your life is in disarray, you are still walking wounded from a previous relationship, or you can't offer some sense of equality in a relationship you can meet the perfect person and it will still fall apart. If you have an oderly and happy demenor you will attract good people and have a field of people to pick from. If you are in a secure place on your own then you go into relationships as equals.

The way it works out for me... Anytime I actively went out looking for love...it always turned out to be a fling or a one night stand. The couple of times I actually got blind sided by love it is like cupid snuck up behind me and whacked me upside the head with an 8 pound sledge hammer o' love.
