people are sooo rude??? For example...yesterday I posted Do looks count??? Several people responded with a remark that this had just been posted earlier in the day...well everyone is not on here all day long...just wondering why sooo rude??

Some of us weren't meaning to be rude when saying that. It's just been in a couple busy topics over the last few days. That's all.

Don't know how they said it, but it is usually part of forum etiquette to look for topics of same nature before posting your own.

I try my best not to be rude. Showing respect to everybody. Im sorry that you had to go through that. hope that this day will bring joy to you

I know what you mean, I have read several post that are just down right mean and nasty. I dont know what is going on lately, but I myself try to steer away from being mean and nasty to anyone. I go by what my grandparent told me when they were raising me, "if you cant say anything nice, then dont say anything at all".

like they said... usually people look for topics that touch on what they are wanting to post about.

but some people never bother to do this and topics are just duplicated over and over again.

First of all I did'nt say they were attacking me...I just felt it kind of rude. I just feel people shouls think before judging someone...have they never made a mistake?

You know why people are rude on here? I think it's simple really. What is this? A singles site. Okay, so lets examine that.

We have a bunch of people who probably aren't "getting any." Well, who here won't admit, that might make them a little irritable.

Add in that most people on here don't actually know each other. That makes us more likely not to worry about hurting other peoples feelings. Nothing personal, just human nature.

Wise azzes occur everywhere.

Sometimes folks are just having a bad day, they might be nicer on others.

SO, in closing, remember, don't worry about a thing said on the threads. There isn't anyone here who isn't in the same situation you are, so we are all equal. Man that makes me so mad, I want to be rude.

While I would agree with you that people have no right to be rude in that manner, it is true that several topics such as "Do looks matter" have been posted to the point of near nauseating repetition. You can look around on the forums and probably find about 12 different threads addressing this issue.

Perhaps you're taking things a little too seriously. It's not hard to look through recent topics to make sure it hasn't been posted before. That's all.

People tend to be very self-absorbed, and fail to realize that just because they have seen a particular topic before doesn't mean everyone else has seen it.

It always amuses me when someone moans "I've seen this same thread 14092 times" while completely ignoring the fact that new people sign up every day; and, for some of them, this will be the first time they've seen the topic posted.

Some people just need to realize that the site is for everybody, not just for them. It's a difficult concept for some to grasp.
