I sincerely wish people would realize the HUGE difference between "slender" and "skinny". On a side note (since I've seen it mentioned on this thread more than once): What, exactly, is an "opion"? |

ok then I think maybe you just misspoke when I asked 'what determines the public opinion' and you said 'the public that spends the most money' it's true.. if you mean..if enough people don't buy their products they may change.. its 'where' the public spends the most money.. not whoever spends the most money makes the decisions... I saw this yesterday...it is obviously two different pictures. the angle of her hair is different from one to the next she is looking at the camera in the second shot and away from it in the first and the backgrounds are totally different The final pose they chose for the ad is airbrushed. Her body is changed. The backgrounds are often changed when they take pics. The bottom line is that they changed her body dramatically. I understand that they clean up professional photos but look at her eyes in both pics. In one she is looking at the camera and in the other she is looking away. They are two different pictures. youtube isn't working for me right now but this is an excellent video that I think any young woman should see... it really puts the ideals of Hollywood into perspective http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHqzlxGGJFo Daydreamer, I didn't see that you posted the Dove commercial too.

publice perception has changed but when it comes to shiit that matter like marriage it will never change, the church would be outraged and therefore so would its people, and the only real way u can change perception even more is for it be in ur sports and music and movies, U probably cant do very much at all, but this country has progressed a great deal when it comes to that and this is waaaay off topic......a dumb topic it is but were off topic lol

like if there was a "counting grass blades" topic u know? i mean whther or not women get airbrushed should have no bearing on a child or a grown person if their parents did a good enough job raising them, sure theres always going to be envy, but there also needs to be realistic point of views, NUTRITIONAL HEALTH ADVICE AVALIABLE!!!!!! i mean come on those diseases u speak of are counter intuitive of losing weight and had their parents taught them that they wouldnt do that crap |
