be proud of the skin you're in, thats what i say.
Even if mine looks like it's been worn before. by a burns victim. After a car accident. Put together by a poor seasmtress. |

while I thank you for the sentiments I do wish I could lose weight but for my own health and nothing more. I'm an active lady...love hiking, biking and stuff... And I just want to be able to enjoy the things I enjoy even more... And I'm working on it so lol thanks again though, it is nice to know people appreciate a person for whom they are.

Be happy with who you are....inside & OUT! Good looks will FADE over time, but a good heart will last forever!! So True. So True. After forty it is patch, patch, patch. After fifty you don't have time for that nonsense. After Sixty you hope you don't need that nonsense. After Seventy you know darn well you do. After Eighty somebody elses turn to patch. |

On the grand scale of life, I've always thought....Its not how much you are, but who you are as a person that counts....

There's nothing wrong with losing weight either, provided it's healthy and for the right reasons. I'm not sure who actually finds anorexic girls attractive. Nobody i've ever spoken to at least |

This size has also become "safe" for me. The less appealing I am to others, the less change and heart ache for my life. Sounds screwed up- I know. I did that, too, for almost 15 years. I missed so much & I did it to myself. Circle goes round and round, doesn't it? If it hadn't been for the fact I was DYING, I would still be there. Now I worry I've gone too far the other way. I still have to make myself look in mirrors & I'm supposed to be average now--but I look the same to me. Coming here is like my first step at getting back into the world, and it's hard. If it's screwed up, at least you have a lot of company. Wow! I am so sorry! |

Are you serious? ...I HATE the fact I am over weight. I get SO scared to meet anyone because of it... First off hon, if you are upfront and honest from the beginning then why would you be afraid? They already know who they are meeting. Just be truthful. Secondly you are beautiful. No reason to feel that way. I do have to say I can fluctuate a few extra pounds but only to where my regular clothes are a bit tight. But I really like staying in shape. That's important to me. I like staying around 8 or 10, maybe a 12. I'm an hourglass figure and honestly love my body. Hell I turn MYSELF on Always upfront! Just scared of rejection...some of you may know how that is. I would LOVE to be a 12. I am a 16 |

Ladies, If I can get a wonderful guy, looking the way I do, there must be others who love the way we look. I mean I know I am overweight, and yes I could stand to lose weight, but for the first time in quite a long time, I love ME!!
Yes there are things I don't like, but Jon does. So that is something positive coming from this situation. Thank you Goof, for posting something special for us Non-Barbies. |
