Case in point: Dan's pic. It's quite obvious he's not here for dating, and he's quite happy with the lady he has. He has good reason. She's a great lady (and yes, I have met both him and her). He isn't out to impress anybody, he's just here for friends and forums.
If anybody is fortunate enough to meet Dan in person, you will find that he is an entirely different persona online. He's very kind, very polite, and hella funny with his quick wit. I am pleased to call him my friend. |

For people who know you it is ok to have a joke as a pic but for those who just see your profile for the first time it gives a very bad first impression, base on your pic I wouldn't even want to be your friend, I might miss a great person but that is life.
