I don't know guys, I sat a man down the other day and told him exactly what i needed from him. Namely, that if he was truly interested to be more assertive, he agreed to show more interest in my day to day life. That was Saturday, what's today? Haven't heard a word. It would be nice if they asked questions about our lives wouldn't it? I have found that telling/asking them to do that never works though. If they don't care enough to ask, then they simply don't care enough. |

Could it be that your word "complicated" is misused in this instance? Perhaps the word you’re looking for is "misunderstood"? I think with the way that the conversation is going, that you tend to think we try to complicate easy things like where your socks are. Why I washed them and put them in the dryer. Why is that so complicated? Or you can think that just because you want something simple that she might question the reasons that you want simplicity. That in turn makes you think that she is complicated.
