Yeah the series is on going in Japan right now, and i think the States are about 80 or 90 episodes behind, maybe more. On Cartoon Network its showing the 2nd story line (a super boring one, IMO), and Japan is in the 5th one right now.

Okay, so they don't know how it ends either. That's cool.

I just love all anime.

Except really gory violent ones.

Cartoon Network is becoming very sad , and so is adult swim.
I mean God I finally figure out the line up and the time and they change it , or take something off that I really enjoy.

Naruto is hardly on , FMA is never on anymore , They took Toonami away which Made me super uber Sad.

Then now they have Movies on which doesn't even have anything to do with Cartoons Blarghhhh , I wish they'd just leave it alone.

I remember when Cartoon network showed cartoons! Then I moved out of the dorms and didn't have cable anymore.

I love anime! Naruto Bleach and the Hellsong OVAs are cool. But I love old school anime as well.....Kenshin was sweet, as well as Trigun.

Trigun was okay, cool, but just okay.

Kenshin was way cool, I even was able to bring up the background (the Meiji Restoration) up in my Japanese class and sound intelligible!

Once they went beyond the manga, however, while still good, it never made it to the same heights.

I just watch CN for Metalocalypse =D

So what did you like about Trigun? I enjoyed it, but prefer others. Perhaps your thoughts could help me clarify my own.

I thought Trigun was awesome, and I always cry when my fav character dies (no spoilers). I feel it was rushed tho, there were alot of things i wanted to know but never got the chance until i read the manga, which is radically different from the anime counter part.

Now that might change my thinking on it radically. I've never read the manga. The only series I've followed both on was AMG, and that was because for the longest time there was just one oav and nothing more.

I mean to collect Gunsmith Cats in manga too, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I love the art in anime, but I just really prefer to watch it. Manga just doesn't do it for me. The best analogy I can use...is that it's like trying to tell a guy to stop watchin porn vids and instead grab some magazines...haha

personal preference of course, I do own some manga, but really just prefer watching anime over it.

one anime I wish woulda kept on goin was berserk...I never bought the manga so I stopped where the anime ended

some anime just needs to come out with more **** man, even street fighter I mean sh*t they bust out a lil tiny clip of akuma and don't make an alpha movie about him...instead they had that SF generations or some crap, I mean it wasn't bad, but it wasn't alpha's art. crappy compared to alpha
