About time. I hate waiting weeks between episodes of shows... I like it when I watch a show after its all done.

|
|

Although it's easier on the nerves watching all at once I find I appreciate and enjoy the show more when I have to wait. More details tend to sink in.

im starting a new series now called black cat, and im waiting to finish tsubasa.

im still trying to find megaman starforce anime on the net since the dvds are gona take forever to come out. cartoon network sucks for only showing like the first 4 eps.
didn't guyver come out with a new series? i actually saw the live action film on the sci fi channel the other day. gosh that brought me back to the good ol days lol. any one seen any chances of a new pet monster type anime series? or are digimon and pokemon still the only ones? so far, dragon drive is the only other one, but it was a short series. just 10 dvds. but still a really good series if any one wants to check it out. i really did enjoy it. |

Another pet/monster type of show us "Shadow Star Narutaru". Short series but aimed for older audience. The theme is a bit darker, only 13 eps. Dragon Drive was good but I think it lost focus towards the end. There's another show called "Kiba" 52 eps. People control "gaurdian spirits" and fight each other.
Black Cat started off great but tv adaptation is way too short and loses out to the lengthier manga. |

Do any of you guys ever go to anime conventions? I've only been to anime expo so far...a pretty sweet experience!
I love the shops the most, I spend hours there, and even more money! x_x I make up for all the guilt I have for not actually "buying" my anime haha The AMV contest is really nice to see, the masquerade is cool 2. They got little festivities too...I won the scanvenger hunt awhile back with a buddy of mine, pretty neat. and I got to see the makers of Hellsing talk about making the ultimate OVA's and people asked the creator questions and stuff. There's so many things to do there, but all I really go for mainly is the merchandise I can't find anywhere. I'm still searching for Griffiths necklace from berserk. I have the one with the face unscrambled, but I really want the one where the face is still scrambled, it loox way better to me. my rooms pretty cluttered with anime collectibles as well as like x-men, gi joe, etc I've seen some pretty amazing collections online. I really like collecting figurines anyone hear about that guy who sells his customized figures on ebay? Jin Satome is his alias [not sure if it's spelled right, but he uses that one guys name, he appears in marvel vs capcom, if I remember correctly] his stuff is really cool, but sells for a buttload on ebay sometimes cuz so many bidders want his customizations. He'll sell a remodeled figure for like 400 bux sometimes it's insane. |

I love anime conventions. I've been to "Anime Expo" 3 times, Anizona 2 times, Anime Central, and a few other small ones in Ohio. I love walking around checking out costumes and booths. I feel so alive and in my element when I'm at a convention. I try to go to at least one a year. However going to Japan and Akihabara beats out any dealers room.
Customized models rock! I wish I had a home to display some if and when I can afford them. Thanks for the name I'm going to look up his stuff. Good luck on finding a "behelit" |

wow silver, you've been to a lot! I have only been to anime expo for the past few years for the most part consecutively. I had a lady awhile back that used to go with a huge group, it was pretty fun. Though when she became an ex, the experience changed. I tried to not let that ruin the experience though.
yea I've been looking for that necklace for years dude, never found it. I found a phone charm of it though, but still it's not the same haha |

Thanks Ahalo, I like to think of myself as an active anime fan/otaku. I'm with you on the group thing. I had my most fun going as a group to conventions. When you go by yourself you tend to have no one that can appreciate your experience when you go back home.
You should try molding your own "Behelit" based on images from the manga and the anime. Plaster of paris would work nicely. I think they give a good image of it in episode 2. |
