So, now you're working on the "feel sorry for me" angle? You asked for opinions, we gave you them based on what you wrote and how you wrote it. It's not what you want to hear, granted, but that doesn't make the opinions invalid.

Thing is, we KNOW what you want to hear, but we're not going to tell you what you wanna hear just so you can sleep better at night. You may not like that, it's your perogative. You don't want to hear the words "controlling" and "abusive" but I don't think they're far off the mark. Sorry, but I have very little sympathy for someone who can't take the opinions HE ASKED FOR and look at them for some grain of truth. Many, many people (both men and women) have said the same thing. So, maybe it's not our perception that is skewed, maybe it IS yours. You should think about that.
