<--steps around the horse puckies!!! 
My dad was a cowboy! He had horses.......rode in horse shows and had a zillion ribbons. Horses hate me........so I dont like them either!@@@@ 
What do you mean by HATE you, horses are not the pedjudice type...  I try to get them to go..........and they wont!!! Then I get off.......and they run away!!! Or they ride up against the fence!!! HORSES SUCK!!!

I just got home from work too, but I am ready for bed!!! It was nice getting teased by you guys... Talk to you tomorrow!!!

They hate me!!! I get on.........they stop in the middle of field and wont go!!! I try to get them to go..........and they wont!!! Then I get off.......and they run away!!! Or they ride up against the fence!!! HORSES SUCK!!!
Horses used to do that to me, too. Or hurry under low limbs of trees, stop suddenly at a ditch, and leap over patches of briars. I stayed away from them, except to feed them and be friends, on my feet. Truce.
That's when I found out that cats liked me. And my cats liked to clean mice out of the barn. So, it turned out okay.

I just got home from work too, but I am ready for bed!!! It was nice getting teased by you guys... Talk to you tomorrow!!!

Seen it before. Did this behavior begin to increase when your vacation plans were going into overdrive? Cats know where your mind is at, I think. Spooky.

They already miss you. That's what I'm saying. They know. But they do not know when you will return...and if they knew that, it wouldn't change the lovey-dovey stuff anyway.

Absolutely.
And they won't relax from when it's near time for you to depart until LOOOOOOOOOOONG after your return (because IT COULD HAPPEN AGAIN!!!) 
You need a second person in the family, for the cats to look at and meow questions at about where you are, and when you'll be home.

My dad is going to feed them.......
He is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr around them. They are so scared of him that I have to lock them in the house for a week because if he lets them out........they wont come in because they are so scared. So he has to come in and feed. Ewwwwwwwwwww my place is going to stink!!!

he thinks cats should be in the barn or something........he is more of a dog person......as long as they dont crap on anything!!!

This happened before. I remember. they will be okay after you are back, hon. They always will be reassured by having you there, and the world is back to normal. When you come home from vacation, rub catnip in their fur, and get them plastered a few times, to take the edge off of the ordeal.
