Hi Sam. I didn't take the time to read your whole post(s) in the other thread. In fact, I only got as far as what I quoted above, which was very early on in your first post.

Is there really any wonder why people today aren't expecting the return of Jesus?

Jesus promised his deciples that he would return before their generation was over. There can be no doubt about that. What sense would it even make for him to proclaim to the people of his day that he was going to 'return' if he wasn't planning on coming back for at least 2000 years!

Coming back 2000 years later is hardly 'returning' to the people he had preached this to!

It's no wonder that people were excited about it back then. They truly thought that they would experience it and see it in their lifetime!

The fact that people are even remotely believing in the second comming of Christ today is just a testament to how naive (or possibly desperate) people can be.

Jesus didn't promise us that he would 'return', he promised this to the people he was speaking to directly and clearly he lied. He never kept his promise to them.

For him to come to earth today would not in any way fulfill the promises that he made to the people whom he preached to. He already failed those people. He already lied to them.

It's water over the dam.

Why anyone believes that Christ is still coming 'back' is beyond me.

Clearly it didn't happen. Even if he did show up today, he still would have lied to the people he had originally made his promises too.

How do you explain the Prophet Daniel Prophesying
or predicting however you want to put it when at the time what he said was not fathonable to anyone how dramtic this would be. I am not sure how long ago it was but 2500 years is a good bet,

He said the messiah would not return to take back Jerusalem untill thier had been a great increase of Knowledge. yahshua spoke about condition and said he would return in this generation.

The knowledge explosion started around the 1900 but actually has not really leaped untill the last 50 years. It is still moving so fast calling it an increase as he did. Fits perfectly with what Yahshua spoke of. The fortress babylon that put fear in mens hearts happened would you not say with the dropping of the Atomic Bomb? At this same time speaking that his people would go back to thier homeland.

And all this is in our heads? Nothing to it. You put stock in Einienstien and Galileo and others who I will give them credit for thier insite, But they do not begin to be a pinch of dust compared to what would happen now.

The nature of the game remains the same over even a couple of thousand years. The game is control and domination. Predictions of these things are not prophecies, they are the just same old stuff the happens in the rise and fall of most civilizations.

The "evil" ones know these patterns. The prophecies are road maps to follow from generation to generation. A guide book for the fulfillment of them. Picture this and make it happen, then proclaim a prophecy fulfilled.

Hero's and saviors have lived and died and been sacrificed completely unknown, unsung and unworshiped. My heart goes out to them who ever they are, because I realize that their story will never be told at all and if told, never accurately by the evil ones who remain.

Billings, Montana

Yellowstone National Park happens to be on top of one of the largest "super volcanoes" in the world. Geologists claim the Yellowstone Park area has been on a regular eruption cycle of 600,000 years. The last eruption was 640, 000 years ago making the next one long overdue. This next eruption could be 2,500 times the size of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. Volcanologists have been tracking the movement of magma under the park and have calaulated that, in parts of Yellowstone, the ground has risen over 70 centimeters this century.

In July, 2003, Yellowstone Park Rangers closed the entire Norris Geyser Basin because of deformation of the land and excessive high ground temperatures. There is an area that is 28 miles long by 7 miles wide that has buldged upward over 5 inches since 1996, and this year the ground temperature on that buldge has reached over 200 degrees (measured one inch below ground level).

There was no choice but to close off the entire area. Everything in this area is dying: The trees, flowers, grass and shrubs. A dead zone is developing and spreading outward. The animals are literally migrating out of the park.

Then during the last part of July one of the park geologists discovered a huge buldge at the bottom of Yellowstone Lake. The buldge has already risen over 100 feet from the bottom of the lake and the water temperature at the surface of the buldge has reached 88 degrees and is still rising.

Keep in mind that Yellowstone Lake is a high mountain lake with very cold water temperatures. The lake is now closed to the public. It is filled with dead fish floating everywhere. The same is true with Yellowstone River and most of the other streams in the Park. Dead and dying fish are filling the water everywhere.

Many of the picnic areas in the park have been closed and people visiting the Park usually stay but a few hours before leaving since the stench of sulfur is so strong they literally can't stand the smell.

The irony of all this is the silence by the news media and our government. Very little information is available from Yellostone personnel or publications. What mainstream news-stories do appear underscore the likelihood of a massive volcanic eruption. Though geologists publicly admit Yellowstone is "overdue", they have beenquoted as stating another massive magma release may not occur for 100,00 or 2 million years. Others close to the story are convinced that a massive eruption is emminent. A source that has demonstrated first-hand knowledge of the park's history and recent geothermal events stated the following: "The American people are not being told that the explosion of this 'super volcanoe' could happen at any moment. When Yellowstone does blow, some geologists predict that every living thing within 600 miles is likely to die. The movement of magma has been detected just three tenths of a mile below the buldging surface of the ground in Yellowstone raising concerns that this super volcanoe may erupt soon."

That's always the nice thing about prophecy, if you keep it vague enough, it will always come true.

I predict that in several generations there will be a time of war and strife, that new technologies will draw us closer while tearing the fabric of our society in half.

There have been several points in human history that would point to times like these. Daniels prophecy would also apply to @ 700 AD when Rome was at it's peak, or just before it's collapse. It would also work well in the times of the Enlightenment, when we discovered new planets, as well as a Western Contenient. One could argue for the late 1800's as well, with the increase in medical knowledge. That was a weak prophecy at best.

The only thing one should know about Daniels prophecy that sets it apart, is that he predicts the return of someone who had yet to be born.

Would prophecy point to a specific new believing religion within the last 100 years?

One that you see all the time on TV and they do what the Prophet says they do. He says this new religion has a covenant with death. All though I am sure no one would say that is true.


Then later talking about what is going to take place speak of the world since 911. Is it possible or would that be making it what you want it to be? Most of the time what you hear I agree they have no clue. That does not annull the scriptures.

well james you know i'm not a believer anymore all i was trying to do was clear up the misconception's of others on this issue, in fact i do believe that as far as i can see that if he did return at all it was to the first century church, that was what this book and david chilton's book "the days of vengence" were about, he makes the best case for understanding this, and that all of whats now held as future events took place in or by AD 70. if nothing else it's interesting and worth the read if you have time - that is D. Chiltons books any way. but if not i understand that also. i guess i was pulled to it because of hal lindseys and others heretical teaching on the subject. As for you personally i doubt it would hold any interest accept to do battle with the hardcore futurist.

I am not sure where I spoke of 666 at. I will elaborate on the misconsumptions Chiltons book by just looking at it in a completely different way. Different than most have even thought of or would even want to believe. It may be hard for some to read without anger. Yet i hope you will see where I am coming from.

Rev 13:11-14:1

Now why this? this beast is like a lamb but yet is a dragon. Rev. 12 speaks of this dragon who was thrown out of heaven.Satan Now satan trys to mock Yahweh. Now we know that Yahweh will have 2 end time witness that Satan or his 2 witness can not kill.

He comes up out of the land to kill the 2 witness.Or when they have been killed. Thier is no power from satan on the elect untill the 2 witnesses are killed this is when you see this passage come to light.

Now satan we know will claim he is what? The Elohim of the whole earth. Did Yahweh not just say that is who he is?

so to make the people believe who he is he needs something. He needs his own two witnesses.

Here we find a tribe who have 666 members.Why are all this nonscence about tribes and thier numbers and endless geneologies it says. Could it be with in them thier is a stary to be told. Who is Adonikam? part of that name should sound familiar to alot of people. All Hebrew names have a meaning like Yahshua means Yahweh is Salvation. What does Adonikam mean that has 666 tied to his name. When I 1st found this i was amazed.
