There is a difference. In a dream, your mind creates an environment which you can call a "dream world."

An "Out of body" experience is basically a "dream" where the dreamer failed to create a dreamworld and the dream body (the astral body) ends up in the physical world or the astral counterpart of the physical world.

Everybody dreams, so everybody has out of body experiences. They just sometimes get out of their dream worlds and end up in the real mateial worlds.

JennieBean you are just doing the same thing as "Skyhook" talking but providing no evidence beyond it being a delusion

all you said is that you remote viewed out of your body and flew pass the planet Saturn and that you knew it was Saturn because you notice the rings ...Saturn is an old trick people try to use in an attempt to prove that they remote viewed and I will explain why

of course someone would have said but other planets have rings so how would you know it was the rings of Saturn and then you would have replied because the rings of Saturn are brightly colored ...and that my dear is only proof that you watch Star Trek

so JennieBean can you supply any evidence that is 'new unknown knowledge" or will you simply be telling of things you remember seeing on Star Trek and I in turn will tell you which episode of Star Trek you seen it on ..

I was explaining the difference between a dream and an out of body experience for anyone interested. (Apparently you aren't interested.)

If I supplied any "new and unknown knowledge" there would be no way to verify it anyway so it would not be proof. Like for example if I told you there was an alien base on the other side of the moon. bigsmile

Now, tell me which episode of Star Trek showed the planet Saturn with rings on it.

"JennieBean" it's funny how people always remote view into other galaxies but can't remote view into their own refrigerators ..

also to answer your question as to which episode of Star Trek you saw someone fly pass Saturn ..it was from Star Trek the next generation ..episode called "The Best of Both Worlds" the borg cube flew pass Saturn on it's way to Earth ... see "JennieBean" you are such a trekkie

For you to know that makes you the treckie.

And why in the world would I want to remote view into my stupid refrigerator? To prove something? No thanks, I 'm in my refrigerator enough. rofl

you didn't get the point ...remote viewers always make claims of viewing something that can't be verified like flying pass Saturn but yet can't remote view next door ..

Well if I really wanted to spend my time in a laboratory proving that I can remote view the neighbors next door or their refrigerator, then that is what I would be doing..but where is the pay off in spending my time doing that?

And if I could do that at will, then I would probably be kidnapped by the CIA and forced to work for their evil asses spying on people because that is all they are interested in.

But if one night I got lucky and took a trip out of my body and flew through the solar system, I guess I can talk about it on this forum if I want to.

No, I can't prove it.

And I really don't care who believes it or who thinks I am nuts or delusional. And I am not delusional or insane. I have a doctor's report to prove it.

Do you think that is my goal in life? To spend it trying to convince a bunch of skeptics about something they can't believe because they have never done it themselves?

If you wanted to believe it, instead of demanding proof from people who have experienced it, you should learn to do it yourself.

But you won't because you are afraid to try. You are afraid that you might go insane or die or be called delusional if you were to find yourself floating above your body asleep on the bed or flying past Saturn.

So if you want to conclude that I am delusional you will have to get a license to practice medicine.

you don't need to be stuck in the lab ..it would just be more easier to verifiy you claims if you stick to the neighborhood instead of floating around Saturn with the Borg

And if I could do that at will, then I would probably be kidnapped by the CIA and forced to work for their evil asses spying on people because that is all they are interested in.

well since you can remote view other galaxies then wouldn't the Draconians kidnap you to spy for them

But if one night I got lucky and took a trip out of my body and flew through the solar system, I guess I can talk about it on this forum if I want to.

sure you can..it's no forum rules against discussing delusion ..in fact this place encourage it

No, I can't prove it.

that's an understatment

And I really don't care who believes it or who thinks I am nuts or delusional. And I am not delusional or insane. I have a doctor's report to prove it.

is the doctor's name "Dr. Ian Sane"

Do you think that is my goal in life? To spend it trying to convince a bunch of skeptics about something they can't believe because they have never done it themselves?

nope you just have to convince your doctor

If you wanted to believe it, instead of demanding proof from people who have experienced it, you should learn to do it yourself.

I didn't demand proof ...I just asked if you have any evidence beyond a delusion

But you won't because you are afraid to try. You are afraid that you might go insane or die or be called delusional if you were to find yourself floating above your body asleep on the bed or flying past Saturn.

it's called having a dream

So if you want to conclude that I am delusional you will have to get a license to practice medicine.
JB

that you believe that someone needs a medical license to come to the conclusion that someone is delusional is ..er... delusional

"Skyhook" ..er....I pretty sure those smart people at Princton asked the same questions that I asked you ..
You are free to be sure of anything you wish to be sure of.

so why you keep getting offensive and trying to make your lack of evidence like it was something that I did
You are free to believe that I “keep getting offensive” as you wish. And you are free to accept or reject my evidence, or PEAR’s evidence, or the evidence of posters on this forum, as you wish.

because let's face it when you came out of your body and saw yourself did I show up and intervene and stop you or your otherself from getting any evidence
This argument is based on the assumption that I DID come out of my body and see myself. Too funny!

all I asked was if you had any evidence other than your out of body experience being anything more than a delusion ...so a simple "no" would have suffice
If you actually read and remembered my posts, you would know that I did, in fact, give you that “simple no” answer. But again, you are free to believe that or not as you wish.

Deceptive tactics you kept using to include Princton Research in an attempt to give what you say some form of legitimacy
I fail to see how referring to PEAR is deceptive. I referred to it only because you rejected my evidence and the evidence of other posters on this topic. You are free to accept or reject the evidence given by me, other posters on this topic, and/or PEAR, as you wish.

and that is why I asked you for a brief synopsis about the Princton research so that you could atleast provide the "new unknown knowledge" they may have obtain ...but now I once again find you making up excuses why you can't provide that
I don’t know what “unknown knowledge” is, so you’re right, I cannot provide it. You are free to believe that is an excuse if you wish.

False. Remote viewers do NOT "always" make claims like that.

it's called having a dream

If all you ever have had is dreams then I can understand why you would think that. But if you have had both a dream and a remote viewing or out of body experience, you would know the difference.

So if you want to conclude that I am delusional you will have to get a license to practice medicine.

False. Remote viewers do NOT "always" make claims like that.

"Skyhook" remote viewings can easily be verified if not for the fact that the views mostly occurs in places that are unreachable

remote viewers are usually those of the "New Age" genre or that believes in psychics or claim to be spiritual but not religious

that's why they interpet their dreams as being more than what it is or that they have special powers or a spiritual connection to a higher source which means it's nothing more than a religion..because just like a religious belief no new knowledge is ever obtain from it

I did not make any claims that I viewed an alien base station on the other side of the moon while flying past the rings of Saturn. See how you twist people's words?

I said:
"If I supplied any "new and unknown knowledge" there would be no way to verify it anyway so it would not be proof. Like for example if I told you there was an alien base on the other side of the moon."

So you see, it was simply an example. It was not a claim. You assume too much. You need to learn how to read.

"JennieBean" wasn't my example the very same example that you used..that remote viewers can not provide any verifiable evidence when they make claims such as seeing alien base stations or floating around the galaxy ..

"Skyhook" remote viewings can easily be verified if not for the fact that the views mostly occurs in places that are unreachable
ALL of the places documented in the PEAR research were reachable. MOST of the places documented in this thread were reachable. So according to the evidence so far presented here, the views do NOT “mostly” occur in places that are unreachable. If you have evidence to the contrary, you are free to present it here like everyone else.

remote viewers are usually those of the "New Age" genre or that believes in psychics or claim to be spiritual but not religious
You’ve finally made a statement that we can use as an agreed upon premise. Now what conclusion would you like to make based on that premise? Or was there some implied conclusion in the statement itself?

that's why they interpet their dreams as being more than what it is or that they have special powers or a spiritual connection to a higher source which means it's nothing more than a religion..because just like a religious belief
That statement contains too many unproven assumptions and personal opinions to consider it as a logical premise, so I will just thank you for sharing your beliefs with us.

no new knowledge is ever obtain from it
New knowledge has, in fact, been obtained from it. If you do not wish to accept any of the information presented to you as knowledge, you are, of course, free to make that choice.

well as I said most remote viewers are "new age" or spiritual what is considered to be those that keep the God but dump the religion ..so let's do a survey..I know my description applies to "JennieBean .. so "Skyhook" does it apply to you
