I just don't sweat it. Sure, there's lot's of perk's to having a relationship but, well, being single, ya get used to it after awhile. I'm very gratefull to have my ex bf to hang with. He's a good heart, just not mine.

Happy? Yea because I am meeting new people and feel like one of them will find me as desireable as my friends and late husband did so it is just a matter of numbers. Yea I have run into a few toads but I have also met some nice guys that are friends.

I am very happy now because I got a second chance with someone I always wanted to be with. However this time last year I was a mess, I was looking for love in all the wrong places. I couldn't figure out why there were no sparks when I went on dates and trust me there are too many to count. Then in the new year I realized why focus on something that I might not be able to control. Once I stopped looking everything started to fall into place. Although it took longer than I wanted to wait, all those lonely days and bad dates were all worth it in the end!

I'm happy with myself and for the most part happy with my life. I'd probably be doing alot more things if I had a man to share those things with. Most of my friends are married w/chilren, or just married and I get uncomfortable with feeling like a third wheel all the time.
Being single has it's advantages & disadvantages but so does being involved. |

I'm happy with myself, but I hate being single. I don't want to be joined at the hip with someone, but I would like to have someone steady in my life. I miss being able to talk to someone (other than girlfriends) about the import things that happen in my life and the silly, trivial things too. ..just curious..don't you have friends that are guys that can take care of that need.. |
