I have to agree with Mirror love is an addiction...when you feel like you can't breath let alone live without them...
![]() I am not sure where Sharon and I fall in the two cats but we love and respect each other and KNEW the second we saw each other the physical thing was NEVER going to be an issue! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Trying something a little different.... From time to time, I will try to post some kind of discussion point about love, relationships, marriage, etc... Something to get you thinking about yourself. Feel free to post questions or discussion points that you need help figuring out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two Different Types of Love We all know love is love right? Those heart flutters, sweaty palms, for me, hives (I get them when I am nervous)... anyways.. I want to focus today on two different types. I am pretty sure that love like a number of different aspects of life falls on a spectrum, there is no black and white. But I want to try to describe some of the polar ends of the rainbow of love. The first one is where emotions and physical are separate. And no, I am not talking about one-nite stands or cold people. What I am saying is people that clearly can tell someone that they love them based solely on how they feel in their heart. However, the kicker is that they will not commit completely to this until they are sure of the physical. These are usually the people that take a while to fall in love. They need time to let their initial feelings grow and test them against life. The other one is where emotions and physical are one. There is no separating them. So when you tell someone you love them, it is with everything you are or ever could be. These are the people that fall fast and hard. Ever wonder why your girlfriend is blubbering over not being able to spend time with you, it could be because there is no way to separate the emotion and phyical aspects of love. It hurts just like breaking their heart to try to separate it. You can also think of this type as all or nothing. You are there 100+% or you aren't. Why is this important you ask. Because with online dating it helps the know what yours and your potential partners' love style is. So, what is your love style? Where do you fall on the spectrum? Are you in a relationship, where do you and your partner fall? Are you the same or different? How do you handle difference? Okay, I'll shut up now and let you all voice your opinions and comments. Then again I have never fallen in under three months before now, so maybe I'm morphing from slow to fast and hard. I guess it all depends on if you consider 3-4 months a short or long time. I think that probably depends on the amount and quality of communication put forth and drawn from each other in that time frame too. Am I ![]() ![]() |

No1sLove, as I mentioned love falls on a spectrum... so you may not fall into one or the other but a little of both!
Thanks for sharing your experience... and this isn't really thread that can go off topic... we take it where it flows... if you can add anything or have a question feel free to post! |
