unfortunately the 32bit windows Operating systems dont recognize more that 3.5gigs of ram.
The 64 bit Operating systems do. However many games arent compatable with the 64bit operating systems. so you are just wasting your money on all that ram unless you plan to run Wine in Linux which still can have some compatibility problems |

put 750w power supply min to start. 450 wont cut it these days for gaming. IMO.
I was thinking of doing that. Actually I am going to do that. I was going to say the same thing. I put a 800w in mine and everything runs smoothly. Are you going to be running one video card only or have a crossfire setup at some point? Just curious. My last build was an Athlon 64 X2 Dual @ 3.0Ghz with SLI. |

I was thinking of doing that. Actually I am going to do that. I was going to say the same thing. I put a 800w in mine and everything runs smoothly. Are you going to be running one video card only or have a crossfire setup at some point? Just curious. My last build was an Athlon 64 X2 Dual @ 3.0Ghz with SLI. Most vid cards need 400w alone, if not more. I have 750w, things run just great. My next system will most likely have over 1000w. And SLI, IMO, isn't there yet. What is the point of having two or more vids rendering the same image? 750w power core2 E6700 4gigs ram nvidia 590mobo/ crippled POS geforce 8800 ultra syncmaster 226bw triport headphones. xp/vista OS only run vista for the dx10, crysis looks sweeeeet on it. Can't wait for Crysis2 |

It speeds up processing for larger resolutions but to be fair, it probably doesn't compare with just 1 good card that can run them anyway. Do you know if this would increase FPS in larger resolutions, running dx10 on Vista in SLI? |
