8GB of RAM... are trying to make it go warp speed? you can only do that with a flux capacitor. |

It speeds up processing for larger resolutions but to be fair, it probably doesn't compare with just 1 good card that can run them anyway. I built this one as an experiment mostly and it suits my needs. Next build definitely won't be an SLI. Too much buck for too little bang. Do you know if this would increase FPS in larger resolutions, running dx10 on Vista in SLI? Yes. If what you're running is supported. That's the other thing. NVidia's drivers aren't the best with certain things. There were all kinds of issues with Neverwinter Nights for example. I see major improvement in UT3 though running in DX10 with SLI (Vista) vs. running in DX9 with SLI. (XP) Don't really have anything else that uses DX10....yet... |

I've heard about Nvidia's drivers and the issues. That's what is keeping me from running SLI. Plus I would need a new mobo that could at least fit another 8800(it's huge). But it's good to know I could look forward to higher FPS in the futrue. |
