one address peoples... we all share it....

and no matter which cap, scarf, burka or bikini one wears, we all live together.

This separationist mindset, irrespective of the faith, religion, philosophy, concept, or non concept one has, is where one has the ILLUSION of being more....

it's all it is...an ILLUSION....created, manufactured, and synthesised by one's own mind...

that's my product, Di, and I'm sticking to it..

Hi Lee, good to hear from you. I was immediately struck with the voice of Bette Middler singing

"From a distance you look like my friend,
even though we are at war"

I love that song, even though its about god watching us, to me it infers what you are sayind, ONE ADDRESS "Earth".

But unfortunately many houses, "manufactured and synthesised" as the self-built protection of poeple incapable of wrapping their mind around any place bigger than their own little town, or block, or church, or family.

How do we get people to think bigger - to act bigger - to accept responsibility for their HOME and all that abide therein - without turning over that responsibility to an invisible superior creator?

By being bigger ourselves Di...walking the talk... and supporting people's strengths, not their weaknesses, as Alex so aptly reminded me often...

By being authentic at all times oneself...

Inspire through BEING....without having a label.

Very well said, the kind of words that make ask so many questions of myself. I think introspection is always a good thing and those who can "inspire" it of others have put forth a good effort.

Tribo:
excellent point, but you know as well as i we are all mislead if we belive words from books, the only truths are natural truths.

Books can offer insight we would not otherwise have. I think, more to the point, would be that we should never consider the written word to be the one and only irreducible, unmoveable source of knowledge and truth.

The obvious fact that any language is totally dependent on one whom encodes and one who would receive and decode the message. Speaking and listening, writing and reading, are always the proverbial game of telephone. The number of translations is equavelent to the number of listners and readers and that is about the most truth I know.

Books can offer insight we would not otherwise have. I think, more to the point, would be that we should never consider the written word to be the one and only irreducible, unmoveable source of knowledge and truth.

books have agenda's when written by man. Can they be informative? yes. are they the truth? maybe or no, usually a mixture depending on the subject matter. Are they worth reading? depends on what info your trying to gather.
if you want to know about things, by all means be my guest. If you want to know info about people - then spend the time to know yourself first then you will know them easier by far.

Diogenese looked his whole life for an honest man, it does not say he ever found one. But if he did how would he have known he was honest? For a man to be have been an honest man he could answer no differently than "there is no such thing as an honest man" And Diogenese would have already had to come to that conclusion before he started his search to know when or if he had found such as what he seeked for. "trueness of bieng" My book - hahaha - dont read it! till you know yourself - hahaha

Mirror I am curious, what do you do all day? I mean I did the math. You have been on the site less than a year and have over 30k posts. Thats roughly 111 posts a day. I think you need to go outside.

Expectations are always based upon the observer's own individual sense of ought. This does not necessarily equate to what is actually being observed, but always equates to the observer's own individual perception of what is expected, based upon preconceptions.

I expect all people to speak of that which they think they know in some way, shape, or form. Personally, I think that if one attains an inner balance between the conscious and unconscious aspects within their own being, by means of successfully recognizing and embracing both, the results will literally speak for themselves.

Christianity is just one of many devices which can allow for one's own greater personal understanding of oneself, if used in such a way. I have witnessed the greatest success when Christianity helps one to find an internal balance within that can only produce a peaceful and kind existence projected outwards.

Expectations belong to the observer, not the observation.

Expectorations are always bazzed ubon the obsurvur's own indifidual sense o fought. This duzz not nezzessarily eqwuate to whud is agually being deserved, but always eqwuates to the obsurvur's own indivindual percebtshun of what is expegtud, bazed ubon predeceptions.

I eggspect awl people tu speag of dat which dey think dey know in sum way, shabe, or form.
