I think if someone is quick to judge you based on your past mistakes, chances are you aren't the only one they judge. These people are hypocrites. Also they probably aren't just judging people with previous drug related issues. Within their so-called perfect existence is something a little more deeply rooted. They are insecure and bringing others down is a way to make themselves feel superior. In reality they just feel inferior. Hence the phrase, "Misery loves company." They are not worth your time. After a brief conversation with someone, i need outside opinions, if someone did drugs at one point in their life do you consider them a bad person? I have to admit, I might be worried they would return to old habits until they had built some history and trust with ME, but I would not feel they were a bad person for past mistakes....no.

Of course they arent bad.. People make mistakes its human nature.. As long as they dont do them now and have no intention of doing them again.. You cant hold someones past against them ..if theyve learned from their mistakes

Course not.Everyone has something in their past they are not proud of.Actually it makes you a better person if you were strong enough to get off them.We learn from our mistakes and learning makes you a better person

Everyone makes mistakes in their life...the real question is, did they learn from their mistakes?? I myself am totally against drugs but I don't judge anyone who has done drugs in their past BUT I won't be around anyone that is doing drugs in their lives now. If you have children and are still doing drugs, then what are you teaching your child? I think everyone makes mistakes in their lives..but its not necessarily drugs!! I think we all grow from every mistake we make. LOL which at that time we didn't think was a mistake at all
