I trap them and put them outside where they belong. And don't come back!
my parents do that, but if im alone i have to kill it, because im to afraid to catch it and it escapes and goes on my arm or something, im all squimish talking about it 
No touching...and they can't jump on you.

They eat flies and mosquitoes.
 Besides, the little jumping spiders are cool as hell.
Don't care for the "Hummingbird spiders" though... |

Love them, they keep other pesky insects out of my room. 
Spiders are beneficial. Ants and aphids are not. |

I have a ton of catface spiders on my porch...cool things...I let them crawl up my arms
....they will tear a wolf spider up, but are afraid of earwigs...duh

When i was 7 years old i saw the movie "Arachnophobia" and to this day i remember the scary spider scenes and try to stay as far away from them as possible. I don't kill them (in an earlier post I explained why) but i'd rather not have them around

When I was in college i had a guy roomate, and one night I heard the shrillest scream from his room, I thought someone was murdering him.
I ran in, and he was laying on his bed as flat as he could, and there was a spider that had webbed down and was hovering above him, I grabbed the web, and went to take it outside, and he begged for me to kill it... We had a big group of friends, and the next day he begged me not to tell them I had to rescue him from a spider smaller than a pencil eraser..

I kinda feel for him tho...if I was just looking up at the ceiling and all of a sudden theres a spider hovering above me, i'd scream too, esp if i just woke up to find myself staring into the freaky eyes of a spider O_O |
