Saying "Just my opinion" when you state something is a little repetitive, isn't it? If you wrote it, obviously it's your opinion.

Saying "Just my opinion" when you state something is a little repetitive, isn't it? If you wrote it, obviously it's your opinion. Go the Religion forum, or the Politics, Current News & Events forum. Lots of people presenting opinions (which, in most cases, can never be verified at all) as absolute total FACTS! You're going to hell if you don't believe them....! ![]() |

It clarifies for those that wanna argue .. like don't shoot the messenger kinda thing ![]() ![]() But they're both the messenger and the person who wrote the message... So if you want to shoot the person who wrote the message, you shoot the messenger because they're that person. |

I, for one, make very broad based and generalized statements. I can also take a very "tough love" and firm lined approach, but not out of any sort of mean spirit. Just out of a need to say it like it is. Or how I see it as being.
For me, writing JMO means that I am speaking only for myself, and not for others. Or towards others. JMO is sort of like saying, this is only what I think, and I could be wrong. Many posters write things they believe all others are in agreement with. They are writing what they believe to be true under all circumstances. Us JMO's are separating ourselves from them. At least, I am! ![]() |
