Topic: Is revenge really sweet? | |

I believe that what ever you put forth unto the universe comes back three-fold. Revenge is a double edge sword and should not be cast about so recklessly..

People have done me wrong in my life...of course. If revenge means I have to do them wrong in turn, I want nothing to do with it.
I have held grudges that only deflated once I'd proven they didn't break me. I suppose that's a kind of revenge. |

I like to just let karma do its job, ends up being much more gratifying when all is said and done. Do you honestly believe that karma will somehow cause justice to be served? OMG I most certainly do. Case in point: My ex-husband cheated on me through out our marriage. When I decided I had had enough and left, he moved the woman he was having an affair with into the home a week after I left. Four years later, she left him for another woman. So yeah, I think Karma had a real big role in making sure justice was served, lol. |

Karma, like Justice is blind for a reason, it sees threw instinct. What is wrong is wrong, and what is right is right. I've seen it work too many times to not trust it. |

revenge tastes bitter, and bitterness will eat your soul.

revenge tastes bitter, and bitterness will eat your soul. Revenge doesn't taste bitter, rolling in sorrow about it taste bitter. Seeing someone get what they deserve in life...that's sweet. But I'm all about "what comes around goes around" just like JT says. |

I just thought of something that I'll b/c I'm not as sweet as you may think all the time...
Last year we had horrible fires here... I made a statement that I hope ****'s house burns down.... It did.. I felt so awful but they were very awful to my grandparents who were feeble and dying and I had such hate for them... But I just felt terrible that I said it and it happened.. |

I like to just let karma do its job, ends up being much more gratifying when all is said and done. I agree. Sometimes an even better job than anything we could have thought of. |

Or does it usually only serve to perpetuate bitter feelings? with cotton candy I guess |

A vengeful heart is not a happy heart. I found it out the hard way

revenge although may seem like a great idea really isn't cause after you plan and scheme and plan and put it into motion and then actually get it then your really bummed cause you find out that now ya have nothing to do or think about any more
p.s. not speaking from experience |

I truly believe that what goes around comes around. Karma might be slow but she is a determined *****! Not to say I haven't plotted some devilish schemes over a brew or two but after that brew he just didn't seem worth the effort!

Kharma is a b!tch and will bite you in the a$$ every time. May take a while but it works! I believe! Plotting revenge is counter productive. Takes a much stronger person to let go and forgive. Could not have said that better myself |
