I really don't see the point in asking. Women just want to be taken, and men must realize their innate desire to just take... provided that they know what they're doing, of course

I believe a person should ask the person they want to hold hands with for the first time. I think its a show of healthy respect for a persons boundaries. Maybe I'm wrong...what do you think? A first date had me in a vice-like bear hug for most of the night at one time. Now THAT was a wee bit much, don't you think?
